Title: The English Lakes.
Post by: ovacik2 on October 09, 2012, 16:16:26 PM
We are now a few days away from the end of our 10th season in wonderful Ovacik TR and my how it has changed. Still! flights booked for May again next year. The wind down is always a bit sad, putting the garden to bed, pool not in use, packing all away and making things secure. making sure the love of Iskender is satisfied etc.

Then Highlanders post, If only it was always like this made us think all is not bad,we are very lucky to live in the English Lakes. The photos were taken on the 11.10.2011 on our return to UK.  Home town Kendal to Birthplace Thirlmere.
Question: How many Lakes are in the English lake District.

Yes! "If only it was always like this"

Thank you for a lovely nostalgia trip. We spent almost 20 years holidaying in the Lake District in a camper van with our 2 dogs, walking the fells. Our regular places to camp were Braithwaite just north of Keswick, Wasdale, Coniston and the farm at the bottom of Buttermere Lake, ah happy memories.
