Now that Turkish Airways are flying from Edinburgh Airport, it will probably be cheaper to use them than Thomas Crook
or the others. Even with the changeover in Istanbul, the savings are worth it and they transfer your luggage so that's
not a worry. Overall, having checked the price of flights, Turkish Airlines are cheaper and with no add on for this that
and the other. Added to this, they have promotional offers throughout the year so well worth checking.

Just check you have a connecting flight at Istanbul and you don't need to find a hotel. Another advantage of using Turkish airlines is your meal and all drinks are included in the fare.

They don't have connecting flights at the moment. They did when we flew in summer but the other week we had to overnight in Istanbul.
It was still cheaper than thomas crook though

They never give us drinks on the morning flight back to Edinburgh. And on the way out you are lucky to get more than one drink! And they never give drinks on the way down to Dalaman.

Yep
Last week no booze on the flight at all. Asked why and they just shrugged. First time and I use the Istanbul / Dalaman flights a lot.

I've used the Istanbul/Dalaman flights for 4 years and never had a drink yet!

Same here - always had one or two on IST - UK but never once IST - DLM or vice versa.
