Does anyone know if you have the opportunity to purchase 'duty free' i.e. alcohol when travelling from the domestic terminal at Dalaman to Istanbul ....

As you are not leaving Turkey I would think that exempts you from Duty free Linda  :(

If it's a drop of the expensive stuff you are after, try ordering a coffee...

I appreciate that it wouldn't be duty/tax free but just wanted to ascertain if there was an opportunity to purchase any bottles in the domestic terminal as I need to take a bottle with me. I certainly wouldnt purchase alcohol, or anything else for that matter, to consume whilst I was at Dalaman! It will have to be a bottle in the hand luggage then  : :)

Only if it is a very small bottle, 100ml is the limit in hand luggage.

Aah,
But I think you are allowed 10 bottles, each of 100 ml in hand luggage=I litre. if you can be bothered and if you can find 10 leak proof ones!
