Title: A Pleasant Way to Spend an Evening
Post by: Scunner on November 22, 2012, 23:10:13 PM
In my quest to get every CBF member to join us at the magnificent Manzil Indian Restaurant in Perth, I can now strike John (Highlander) and the delightful Brenda off the to do list:

A night of big wines, big animal hats for kids and huge hilariousness.

A splendid evening indeed.

Here's to the CBF Scottish Night.

PS I hadn't realised that Brenda was on your "to do" list.  ;)

Interestingly, Brenda thought that Steph looked younger than when we last met which is a few years ago now and Steph thought that Brenda hadn't changed at all.

Keith and I remained silent on such matters which given that there is a photo of my good friend on here from 2004 was probably a wise decision  ;).

Last time I was in Perth it was a few beers at the Twa Tams and a crap meal at Isle of Sky carvery type place next to where our friend lives.  Enjoyed the beer, but next time will head to Manzil.  Normally in Perth every couple of years, so hope to add our names to the list "soon".

You could have done a lot worse than eaten at the Twa Tams Colin - it's pub grub but very good.
