I have to say this is disgraceful, the poor man may have been saved if someone had of kicked down the door earlier. I also suppose they never clean the toilets in this place?? I hope the family prosecute. In this day and age in the U.K. who could believe a man could lay dead behind a door for 5 days and the staff of the shop where joking why the door would not open... It's a sad world.

If I owned an establishment and one toilet door was locked for even one day I would want to know why. As said in the newspapers this man could have had a stroke and may have been saved if someone had of had enough common sense to wonder why a door should be locked from the inside...
-
I'm going to make it my mission in life to kick down every closed toilet door in future, just in case.
I think for Health & Safety reasons toilet doors should be banned or, at least made transparent. I've set up a website for a petition in support of this movement.
It's at https//www.icupoop.org/petition

I suggest before you kick anyones door in , have a look underneath with a mirror ! ;)

Why do I need to carry a very dangerous glass item in my pocket when I'm already well equipped with PPE?

I must be missing something here... As someone with a really good sense of humour I can find nothing funny about a man being left behind a toilet door for 5 days and as said if he had of been found the 1st day he may have lived.. So a man is slumped inside a toilet cubicle for 5 days and left to rot and that's funny??? i must have had a sense of humour bypass.. I am sure this guy was someones Father someones son and they must be devistated.

I am sure this guy was someones Father someones son and they must be devistated.
But they hadn't noticed he was missing ?

I agree with Jackie, I don't find it funny, this poor man could have been saved if someone had investigated earlier. It could have been you. Tragic.
-
Get a grip boys 'cos the Head Girls are after us - respect.
-
It could have been you.
No. Because the people who love me would have wondered where I was after 5 hours, NOT 5 days.
-
But how would the family know where to look?? He may have dashed in just to use the toilet or was a secret gambler - it happens. His loved ones were probably out of their minds with worry.
-
I totally agree with Jackie and Lotty how can this be found amusing >:( :(

"A black comedy, or dark comedy, is a comic work that employs black humor, which, in its most basic definition, is humor that makes light of otherwise solemn subject matter, or gallows humor."
Not meant to offend , perhaps a workshop / blokes type of thing .

Yes and all the better for it or do I feel detention coming on.But a realistic GSOH is required as has been said.
