Strange request to friends in Turkey,  Please can someone measure an Efes bottle for me, the large and small size; circumference and height.

I bet it's for one of those chill 'jackets' for beer bottles. I looked at them on Amazon especially for Efes. I don't like beer much but love an icy cold Efes, in summer they get warm too quickly for me.

can someone in Turkey provide me with the size of the bottles. 
Large Efes  circumference and height to shoulder of bottle
Small Efes   circumference and height to shoulder of bottle

I need the sizes within the next 2 weeks ideally, I need to get the templates made the rest I can get done in Turkey.  I have asked the bars for the info but I think they are busy at the moment, which is a good thing.
Moving and planning a trip does not gel well :(

Just remembered that we were given a pressie of a case of Draft Efes before Xmas.  So the size of the 50 cl bottle is:

Circumference = 10"
Height to shoulder = 5"

Sorry can't help with 33 cl.

That is the Turkish Brown bottles and not the UK Efes green bottles?

Yes, says imported on the case - the bottles are brown.

Not wishing to throw a spanner in the works but that bottle 'looks' fatter in the photo.
Surely someone over there can measure a couple of bottles?

Thanks Marggie, it does look similar and the measurements could do.


Bewva, the problem is people are saying "I will get you the measurements" but I think they get the bottle open it and the contents get good to them  ;) :D

Measurements for a bog standard Effes bottle 50 cl

Circumference = 25.2 cm
Height to shoulder = 12.5 cm to the top 20 cm

Marggie's bottle is a different type and has ridges on the middle and bottom if you look at the pic.

No idea of a 33 cl one although i do have a load of ex London pride bottles, let me know if you want that measuring?

Go to a Wetherspoons pub, they sell in there, not sure of the sizes though.

Thank you all for your help,  Screamland it does appear that Maggies sizes were not far off, thank you again.
Now to get cutting!  :D
