Title: Roof problems.

Our management company have informed us we may have an issue with the roof and have a couple of problems with water ingress. I have asked them to do a survey and give us a quote to put right. Has anyone claimed through insurance for such a problem. If it works like home I think I will need more than one quote so if anyone can recommend a good roofer to have a look and give us a quote as  well it may help.
We are insured through intasure so i am hoping we can get this sorted with not to much hassle.

You might struggle with insurance as, depending on the terms, it may only be covered if not caused by wear and tear or bad workmanship. Very difficult to prove it was caused by and insured peril such as storm.

I have claimed on my house insurance for damage to my roof, during extremely high winds and torrential rain, about 6 years ago. I had to go to the meteorological offce in Fethiye to get a report. Once this was sent they paid up.
