Title: Man Utd v Real Madrid
Post by: Ian on March 05, 2013, 10:00:28 AM
Really looking forward to tonight - I think the tactical performance of both managers will be fascinating. Not sure I agree with the statement yesterday by the "special one" that "the world will stop for this game" although 250 million plus are set to tune in!

As always my support will always be for ANY team from the UK against an overseas team and I trust you will ALL be cheering for Man Utd this evening  ;)

Unusually for me I'll be shouting for the Mancs tonight.  Three good reasons

I dislike Maureen more than I do Fergie

I always want to see Francos team beaten.

And of course I want to see chip fat head booing his eyes out

UBT - as a life long RED fan (well at least from the age of about 10 when I watched George Best and Denis Law almost single (double?) handedly take apart my local team Stoke City) I applaud your sincerity.

I could almost hear the grinding of teeth whilst you were writing it.  :)

Tiggsy - you can watch it with your Man City shirt on - and I like you will hope that they will be so drained by winning this game that they will then drop 10 points in the next 6 games - but you should cheer them on   ;)

Man United 3  Real Madrid 2

H - if you are right - this truly will be a classic - let's hope so?

All the in the past talk about 3 of tonights real stars "never really doing it in the big big games" - so lets see what you are made of: Cristiano / Wayne and RVP

As an avid follower of the Great Manchester United, & Sir Alex Ferguson, I wouldn't like to bet on the outcome of what is surely going to be a terrific spectacle. I don't think I have ever looked forward to a football match as much in my life, & as a true follower of 'The Beautiful Game', hope that both teams play the game in the spirit which it truly deserves.
