Do anyone know if there will be any hotels in the olu/calis/Fethiye area that will have their pool ready in early April. We will happily partake of their menu 8) if it s a warm day?
-
Most don't until end of April/1st May
-
Last year most pools were ready beginning of May, the year before was a little later.
-
I don't know when the aquapark will be open, I'm almost certain not in early April though, sadly. The only place I can think of that might have pools filled and open is Club Letoonia, the big all inc hotel in Fethiye.
-
I think that is a scary looking place!!
-
The aquapark or Letoonia? :)
-
As I mentioned in another post on the newbie section Aquapark is not taking bookings until 1st May.
This is on their website.
Re Letoonia, We have stayed there and it's not scary. It's possible to get a day pass to go in.
-
Both Keith!! :) Lykia World gets me a bit like that as well, I think it's the barbed wire.
-
That's to keep the riff raff out ;)
I've been to Letoonia many times, but only for meetings or to collect customers. Have holidayed at Letoonia in Belek and I find it all very relaxing. In fact, at Letoonia in Fethiye it reminds me so much of the Belek one that I have felt myself nodding off in my chair more than once :D
-
Thanks for the help.....i m sure this riff raff can wangle a day pass :)
-
Last I heard day passes where £30.00 each.
-
Wangle a bunk over the fence at that price Amanda. :o

It's a real shame season does not really start till May 1st for most of Turkey
(When it comes to swimming poos and the like)

When it comes to swimming poos and the like
I don't think we want to see that sort of thing in April or any month really.
-
My friends place Serial 1 is open all year reasonable rates but sadly no pool, but you do have the option of the big pool opposite the hotel, the sea of course.
-
and no swimming poo hopefully?? :)
-
oo forget letoonia at that price.probably not open anyway.I really can t understand why the season doesn t start at Easter. That would be another months revenue every year. There s always a lot of people off with the kids for a couple of weeks ! They re looking a tesco gift horse in the mouth !
-
Forget Letoonia at that price? £30 for lunch and dinner and snacks all day, plus as many drinks as you want?
I'm sure a boozer like you could get 30 quid's worth Bullo!
-
Agree with Keith, £30.00 is not bad for a whole day drinking, eating and sunbathing, they do also have day time events going on as well. They have beaches and also pools.
The restaurants that are open will the the self services and the food is excellent and you can eat as much as you like. There are bars for drinks, you will need no money all day. They will be open at this time.

I remember one year filling the pool early looked lovely but was like swimming in the north Atlantic!
-
Yes and if the pool is filled with pumped well water it is even worse, it comes out of the ground absolutely freezing. Any heat added is lost overnight, till the hot nights come. When we holidayed there we were in the pool first week of May every day - then in the 5 years we lived there we filled the pool later and later each year - and shook our heads at these tourist types, who jump into pools in the first week of May ;)
-
haha might have a second thought on that then>>>>didn t realise it was all included...boozer that I am..cheeky devil !
