Pegasus have offered CBF members a special deal for 2013 and it really should put the cat among the pigeons. Here it is:
Dalaman - Calis Beach - 1 to 6 passengers - £25 each way
Dalaman - Calis Beach - 7 to 14 passengers - £35 each way
Dalaman - Uzumlu - 1 to 6 passengers - £30 each way
Dalaman - Uzumlu - 7 to 14 passengers - £40 each way
Mutlu at Pegasus is a good lad, you can find them at:
www.rentacarpegasus.com
e mail
info@rentacarpegasus.com
Or chat to Mutlu via Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pegaususrentacar
Let him know you are a CBF member - it's some deal I think. Any questions I have no idea but I will ask :)
-
We have used Mutlu at pegasus for 3 0r 4 years now. They have never let me down on transfers. Mutlu speaks good English which is a bonus, there car rental rates are unbeatable and the cars are good.
Throughly recommend them.
-
That's excellent, obviously it's per car not per head, an even better deal if people can communicate and can share the ride. We were very happy with their car hire too.
-
Superb prices! That will rattle a few of the other transfer companies :)
-
Funny, that's exactly what I said to Mutlu :D
Makes Pegasus about the same price for 4 people in a private transfer as the A2B/Resorthoppa types are for 4 in a shared transfer. No brainer really.
-
Those are really good prices. As there's only two of us we usually get the shuttle bus which works out pretty cheap and has always been ok. But I could be tempted to give these a try for the luxury of a private transfer :)
-
A good honest deal :)
-
If you have Calis/Fethiye/Uzumlu visiting/living friends can you share this on Facebook with your friends list? The Facebook F logo is just below in the row of logos - just click that.
It's time someone shook up the private transfer market :)
-
FaceBook added and book marked, a very good deal ;D
-
Guess who'll get our business this year
-
Excellent deal - have bookmarked. But most important of all - have you seen that gorgeous baby on the facebook page? What absolutely wonderful pictures!
-
Absolutely - no wonder he needs to be busy :)
-
And for those poor folk who are having to live here what is the TL price? 8)
-
pleased I saw this, was looking for a pick up for my Mum and Brother and also need a rental car for a week while they here, this will now be where I call, thanks for the info
-
That would depend on the exchange rate I suppose. Mutlu is a good honest man who is easy to talk to and realises that doing good business brings more business and he will do his best give a good deal.
-
This is excellent, I booked a minibus hire for a week with Mutlu after reading the earlier posts, now I'm going to order half a dozen transfers for people visiting this year.
Well done Keith.
-
Thanks so much for that post. For the last four years we have used Rain Transfers and never had a problem with them but reading the reviews on the forum about Fethiye Airport Transfers we were going to try them this year as they are 25% cheaper than Rain. But the prices quoted for Pegasus are 50% cheaper than Rain. That's such a big saving and it all helps. Thanks again
-
Excellent prices booked a fiat doblo for nine days in April for £160 if you deduct what a transfer would cost it works out at £12 a day can't go wrong
-
I'll let Arthur at FethiyeLovers know. Cat -> Pidgeon :)
-
Great deal. they will be getting our business this year :)
-
No-one else competing yet?
-
This is a very tasty deal, and a better alternative for visitors than me going out to pick them up, particularly when you include the exorbitant cost of parking at Dalaman Airport (Al Capone Parking) >:(
-
Yes Steve I would be interested to see what Arthur says, we usually always go with him....!
-
PS.....but don't think we will be this year!!...
-
I asked Orange if they could price match or better this fantastic offer and they said no, the prices on there web site was what they will be charging for 2013 so there is one company who might need a rethink sooner rather than later ....
-
Is that like going into Bella Mama and telling them the price of a steak in the Orient Express and asking them to better it. :(
-
FethiyeLovers are not matching it either. Arthurs says that it's less than cost. I think the others might be waiting for him to fall flat on his ar*e ;)
-
I worked out a while ago that it must take about
12 ltrs of fuel @ about £1.60/ltr = £19.20
Tunnel 3.5 to 5tl each way = £ 3.00
Parking 5 to 8 tl = £ 2.00
Total = £24.20
That is before the cost of the vehicle, wear & tear, tyres etc and labour which as a minimum is 2 hours.
How can they possibly make any money at £25?
-
Bewva - the big money is made when they have another fare going in the opposite direction, when busy they never travel empty that's why many of the companies only work during the tourist season.
-
Yes exactly - which is why they will be hoping for a good number of bookings - Bewva's 80p profit becomes £25.80 profit if the bus returns with customers in.
-
Tears before bedtime on this one, I fear.
-
That's ok, we always seem to arrive long after bedtime.
-
Used Mutlu for hire and transfers for years , lovely man. His prices are really fair and his service excellent. Hope he does well this season
-
Hi
Contacted Mutla at Pegasus and booked Dalaman to Hisaronu return for £60. Can't beat it......
-
Luvcalis are you deserting us this year for Hisaronu.... So will you now be LuvHisaronu? ;D ;)
-
Booked with Pegasus, confirmed and on our way!!!!!!! ;D
-
Hi Jacqui
Suppose I should be luvhisaronu for this year anyway...... :D Going to hisaronu as we are taking two 16 year olds with us - they need the buzz of hisaronu nighlife. Will still visit Calis though, love the water taxi ride from Fethiye to Calis.
Will definately be back to Calis in the future as my name says LUVCALIS.... 8)
-
Brilliant recommendation. Having priced up the option of an A2B shared transfer for 2 of us, this was £19.24 with the transaction fee. And having to wait at Istanbul for 8 hours overnight for the connecting flight..the thought of saving basically £5 to he hearded with others on a shuttle bus did not appeal. So, booked (very prompt reply)...
Will recommend to friends / family also. ;)
-
I've just booked mine now. I feel I'm almost on my way but unfortunately not. I've got a while to wait! :(
-
A little update. Not only that, he asked me to text him to confirm he had all the details correct, so I did. Not 2 minutes later he rang me back to say he had my text and it was all booked. What service!! :)
-
Agreed. I emailled Mutlu yesterday to book two transfers. He got back to me within the hour confirming my booking.
Superb service
-
Anne, this was a young man called Ovetkan and he was so polite. He made the mistake of telling me how lovely the weather is there today and as I've only just this morning managed to get my car safely off the drive what with the ice and snow, it made me want to go straight to the airport!! :)
-
anyone else having bother on the pegasus site I can get the main page up but it wont go further to book just comes up with internet explorer cannot display the page ? have been trying for ages.
-
I just emailled to books ours
-
I didn't notice. I just went to the homepage, saw the number and called them. It was all done and dusted in 10 minutes. Fabulous service! :)
-
I just emailled to books ours
Thanks Anne just did the same and all sorted straight away.
-
E-mailed, booked & confirmed by return e-mail. Great price. Shame Fethiye Airport Transfers can't price match. Loyalty to a friendly, efficient company has gone out of the window on this occasion. If Pegasus can do it, so can all the others. Good on ya Mutlu.
-
I think I will be sticking to Fethiye Airport Transfers.
Pegasus offering £25 for 2pasengers but only if we will wait for about an hour and share with another set of passengers.
To do that, we are cheaper and possibly faster using resort hoppa or a2b.
This does not match the description on the original post.
Maybe, the offer has changed since then, of course.
-
Maybe they have had more business than they can handle?
-
You may be right, I don't know.
What I do know is that it has gone from the title of this thread to ' most expensive shared transfer'.
-
The cost is £25 for 1-6 persons. Probably £12.50 per couple.
-
You may be correct but that is not what is stated in the email.
-
We have always used Pegasus. Even when there is only 2 of us, we have never had to wait and share with anybody else. Great service, always. Now that Mutlu is offering the transfer to Çaliş for £25 that'll be a nice saving from the £30 we previously payed
-
It is 60 pounds to Fethiye so we will be going back to our original company who are cheaper and just as reliable...
-
I have to say will still sticking with Fethiye airport transfers service always so good ,sometimes cheapest isnt always best option
-
So is it £25 or £30 to Fethiye?
-
From the email I received, it is £30 private transfer to Fethiye.
-
Pegasus picked us up at the airport Friday night, flight half hour early, no problem, just the 2 of us £25, airport to door. very good driver, and polite.
-
Hmm, the plot thickens

We have just emailed Pegasus and were told the same, or have private transfer for £30 so we'll stick with FAT too.
-
I emailed Pegasus, out of courtesy, to say that I would not be using it for transfer, neither private nor shared
I got reply offering to do at £25 for private transfer instead of waiting and sharing.
I replied that I had already booked with another company.
Pegasus responded by asking how much I was paying the other company.
I know many have nothing but praise for Pegasus but I have not been impressed.
-
FAT are £30 to Fethiye
-
Maybe they got too busy with the £25 private transfer too quick, or forgot to give CBF members (if mentioned to them) the discount?
First time I have ever used them so I am not aware of problems, however, no matter what the company, first encounter of a problem I never use again, easy to walk away and learn by mistakes. Therefore at the moment Pegasus is good for me.
A2B for shared transfer from airport to villa is still good value.
-
in the space of 7 pages I've gone from excitement ot confusion! only just seen this thread and started reading from the begining and was during the thread have added mutlu on facebook! Now reading recent posts Im not too sure anymore!
I've still got time as were not out til August so I'll watch and learn!
-
Same old, same old - mentality! Seems like another case of getting reccommendations, gets busy, gets inflated ego, gets greedy! No long term business vision/plan, no business sense at all............
In saying that, my 1st transfer cost me £30 in 2004! :-X
-
I emailed Mutlu yesterday and asked him if i would have to wait an hour and possibly share and this was his reply.
Hi
this is a ridiculous rumor, you do not believe in such things.
I am due out soon so will post if i have any problems.

Hi

If there is a rumour about this then I would like to point out 2 things:
1. My post was about what was said to me and did not suggest that it was the same for everyone.
2. This is the content of the email I received ;
"Yes we make transfer 25 pound but wait abaout 1 hour or 45 munute, another
family,if you want we make your private transfer 30pound,please let me know
which one?
Thanks
Mutlu
PEGASUS RENT A CAR "
-
The reply to my email was exactly the same and I refused. Mutlu then came back and offered a private transfer for £25 which I accepted. Not a rumour, have the emails.
-
This all seems to be getting a little complicated - I shall stick with Arthur at Fethiye lovers - never lets us down.
-
do the do discount for car hire for cbf members . thanks
-
Yes he did me a great deal on a hire car last week, give him a shout and tell him you are a CBF member.
-
We have booked them for our transfers in May bank holiday week, £60 return Dalaman to Ovacik for 5 of us. :)
-
This was really useful information, I have emailed Mutlu, he got back to me straight away, it will save me 25pounds on what I normally pay for the return journey from Airport to our place in Ciftllik! Also, am thinking of hiring a car whilst we are there for a few days so if everything goes okay I will certainly be recommending them. Thanks for info. Polly
-
What an excellent forum this is! We were going to pay £40 each way from Dalaman to our villa in Koca Calis, and now, after emailing Mutlu, we'll be paying £25. As will our friends who will be staying with us, arriving on Tuesday. Thanks, all!
-
We used Mutlu/Pegasus, I booked it to share with another CBF couple were booked on our flight. Mutlu asked for their names, which I supplied. Imagine my devastation when we arrived outside Dalaman and there was a board being held up with their names on it, no mention of me at all!! ;)
After extremely mild confusion we were taken to the minibus and told they would swap vehicles at their Dalaman depot. We went from minibus to a Fiat Doblo type of car - I assume because we were 4 people and could fiit in a Doblo type car and a 7 seat minibus could stay at the airport for a larger party. Who knows.
Anyway, it was no great event, we were driven to the Pegasus place near the airport, moved us and luggage into the smaller vehicle and we were on our way in no time.
On the way back we were travelling alone as the couple we shared with are staying around 6 months longer than us. Driver on time, a little early perhaps, and two of us in a lovely minibus with leather seating (and not rows, facing seats - all very stylish indeed.
Happy :)
-
Sounds great, booked up hopefully all will be fine

If they haven't already done so, wouldn't it be splendid if Pegasus matched Fethiye Airport Transfer's Promise for the Auction ;D
-
Well Pegasus have come up trumps as well as Fethiye Airport Transfers :).
Mutlu at Pegasus Rent A Car has today promised a return transfer from Dalaman to Fethiye area for a maximum of 10 people valid until October 2013 for the Calis Children's Charity Promises Auction which takes place outside the Nil Bar and the two Bambu Restaurants on Calis seafront on Wednesday 29 May - now that is well worth a bid!
-
Brilliant - well done Pegasus ;D
-
Our flight was delayed for 3 hours on Saturday, from Glasgow. Pegasus were there waiting for us, no problems with transfer. Thank you Pegasus.
-
Used this company for a few years now , can't beat them for price or service, fab.
-
I have messaged him on Face book but not had a reply about the cost of a transfer for myself from Dalaman to golden moon Calis :-(
-
Anyone flying from Stansted with Easyjet on 7th June (morning flight) that would like to share a reliable transfer ?

We have just used Pegasus for the first time, always used Arthur at fethiye lovers previously.......I am probably overly cautious but don't want a hiccup once we are there, so booked it and he confirmed private transfer for £25, i e mailed again a day before we were due and he confirmed all ok...they were there to pick us up on 6 may really nice minibus and just us on it..£25 All good.
For the return flight again only what I would do with Arthur, just e mailed to confirmed pickup a day before ...no reply....another e mail ....no reply....text....no reply...at this stage we were about 5 hours from pick up time...so the next one said if I don't hear I'm sorting it with someone else.....e mail came no problems we will be picking you up.....!!....worried me slightly but that said they were there on time in the same minibus so I can't complain at all and for £50 return that's cheap and the vehicle was lovely....so no complaints but I just think they will find it hard to contain those prices when the season starts.....
-
June i asked them for a 24 hour mobile number in case of any problems which they kindly gave me, ill call that number on the morning of my departure to confirm that all is ok
-
Arrived in dalaman last sunday and mutlu was there waiting for us.mini bus just for the two of us and Mutlu was a very careful driver.no rushing or overtaking on bends.very pleasant journey to calis.thanks mutlu. 8)
-
We have just returned using Pegasus and the driver Ercan, very good driver safe and not speeding, fantastic service once again.
Thank you Mutlu and Pegasus ;D
-
will never use Pegasus for any thing thay let me down thee time on flights
-
Thee time on flights?
-
This is about Pegasus transfers/car hire not the flight company
-
Just used them for 1st time, for friends.
Great service,thankyou
-
It is with regret that I write this review. We have always used Fethiye Lovers but following this offer, thought we would give Pegasus a try. On 15th April, I emailed Pegasus with the flight details to book a transfer, advising there would be six of us on the transfer. I received an immediate reply asking where our house was in Calis and I replied that we were in-between Calis and Fethiye, by Tansas. On 16 April, the booking was confirmed. I replied asking for confirmation of the price and again stated, this was for six people. The reply was:
"6 people transfer Dalaman to near Tansaş 30 pound"
All fine. On Saturday 4 May I emailed:
"Just a quick message to check we are still all booked for the transfer.
Do we pay the driver? Do we pay for the return at the same time?"
The reply I received was:
"Hi Lynne,
Your give pay my driver,I'm waiting your details"
Now call my a worrier, but this concerned me!!! I replied:
"All the flight details for both flights to Dalaman and our return are at the bottom of this email. Can you confirm you have them? Scroll down to the bottom of the message.Thank,Lynne"
The reply was:
"Hi Lynne, Okey I have your reservation"
We duly all arrived at Dalaman. The driver was there, BUT he confirmed he had been told the booking was only for four people. He quickly phoned the office and we were moved to a bigger vehicle but then told that the price had now gone up to £35!!!! I was obviously far from happy! I decided to sort this out when I returned home as we were with guests and didn't want to start haggling on the car park.
The day of the return transfer came and yes, you've guessed it! The driver turns up thinking it was a booking for four people.
I have emailed Pegasus twice now and received no response. The transfer cost us exactly what we would have paid with Fethiye Lovers who we have always used and I'm afraid to say, I will be using again in future. A transfer that should have cost £50 (£60 at a push) cost us £70 and Pegasus simply do not reply to my emails.
-
We booked with Pegasus for the first time in May after reading about the offer through cbf. I originally booked for four people with two drop offs (£25 each way). Last minute I added three more people to our transfer, and requested a larger vehicle and was told the cost would be £35 one way. On the night we arrived, I had the number of people wrong (there were 8!) but there was plenty of room in the mini bus, still at a total cost of £35 for all of us, with three drop offs!
The driver was a good careful driver, gave us all bottles of cold water and was very helpful, taking out the suitcases, dropping us off outside our apartments etc. ALL FOR LESS THAN A FIVER EACH! :)
On the return, we were travelling back on a different day to the others, but had a private transfer (still on the minibus); the driver had a few problems finding our apartment, but we could see him driving round looking for us, and hubby ran out to flag him down. We were just a couple of minutes late leaving. Again, a different driver, but very careful, and very helpful. Total cost of £25 for the two of us. Total cost for the return transfer for us was a grand total of £35. (Had we all travelled back to the airport together, that cost would have been less than twenty quid!) :)
I would definitely recommend Pegasus and we will use them again in August and October, no complaints at all with their service. Email replies were swift and I spoke to Mutlu on facebook to confirm our pick up just before leaving for the airport.
Well done Pegasus! :)
-
We have been using Pegasus for the past 4 years. With all the family coming out at various times, I guess we have used them more than 30 times.
Never been let down, in fact they are usually 20 mins early to pick us up to go back to Dalaman.
The only thing that has happened in the 4 years is the price going down!
We always text Mutlu directly to his mobile and never bother to check the day to make sure they have our booking.
Well done Mutlu - Pegasus.

We used for the first time last week. They were at the airport on arrival and were on time to the minute for our return. Driver very careful and helpful with the bags etc. They will now have future business from us. 5 people return to Ovacik for £60.
-
Another satisfied customer here, used them last week, for the 1st time, driver waiting on arrival for us, good steady driver, he used hands free on the telephone whilest driving & he even asked my son to put the seat belt before he moved
he stopped at a shop where he bought us all a bottle of water
Departure night we got a call on our Turkish mobile at 22:00 to say that the driver was on his way to pick us all up .. :)
-
Like Lynne have always used Fethiye lovers, about 5 years now. As we have always been given excellent service with transfers and with car hire (we have a brand new car this time) . I see no reason to change as once you find an excellent service you are comfortable with why change and face possible worry.
-
I'm with you Jacqui - Arthur's price is the same as last year and he has been totally reliable for us for the past 8 transfers -
-
Hi everyone, Just got back from another brilliant hol in calis but i must say i was very dissapointed with the taxi transfer re Pegasus. We booked it for £50.00 return yes its a great price but it was not a private taxi for the 2 of us. We collected our cases almost immediately which was great went outside the terminal to our taxi and then was told we had to wait why we wondered we have a private taxi booked for the 2 of us it all became clear they had put us with another couple who had fetched a bike over they were the last out of the terminal as you can imagine we were not too pleased but thought hey ho we are on holiday. On our return guess what the taxi arrived to collect us with the same couple in so Pegasus actually received £100.00 for the return transfer i think that's really naughty and we will not use again. The excuse we got was a car had broken down which was absolute nonsense. I definitely would not recommend.
-
just goes to prove one thing. "you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time"
-
just goes to prove one thing. "you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time"
Well no I don't think it proves that at all. It proves that they didn't get what they paid for - it's nothing to do with whether the service pleased them or not, how can it when a different service was provided but the price stayed the same?
-
my point is that no matter how good a service someone provides, you are only as good as your last job. A service can be provided perfectly for years but eventually somethings going to go wrong. One can easily go from being the best thing since sliced bread to being the worst company ever with the blink of an eye.
-
Just had to join in the comments on Pegasus transfers. We used them for the 1st time on 6th June, and the service was excellent, car waiting for us on arrival, on time to pick us up, and only £50.00 return. Very good communication from Mutlu, no need to remind them about transfer times. Very satisfied. :)
-
I thought I would update you on my experience. I finally received a response regarding my £10 overcharge. I was offered £5 off my next booking. I declined this offer and asked that the £10 be dropped off at my management company. I am still waiting.
I actually think this is the worst part of this - after acknowledging the error, I was only offered half of the overcharge back. If Pegasus are reading this, PLEASE can I have my money back?
-
I'll just stick with FAT, don't see any reason to change

can someone tell me where the office for Pegasus is in fethiye. I tried to find it when we where out in June.
Regards
Ian and Carol
-
It used to be across from the cinema, not sure if it still is though
-
I think it is on Dispanser Sokak which is the street with the new Fish & Chip shop (Arti). Pegasus is half way along on the opposite side.
-
Not impressed - arrived at the airport 04/07/13 -young lad met us with a board. We were then taken to the vehicle, no problem so far.Young man then drove us to the Pegasus's office & we changed driver- this is when the fun really started. The drive to Calis is approx 40 minutes & for the entire time the driver never took his mobile phone away from his ear & drove with one hand until I pointed out that we'd like to arrive in one piece & not by ambulance. When we arrived in Calis the driver could not find the hotel & I had to direct him!!!
The day prior to departure the receptionist at our hotel phoned the Pegasus office to confirm the pick up time & to remind them that the transfer was for 2 passengers & private. Guess what, a minibus turned up with 3 other passengers on board. I pointed out to the driver that the transfer was booked as private & then said - Oh,today is very busy, then changed his story to - a vehicle has broken down, but the look he gave was -Oh no not again !!! We are not impressed . By sheer coincidence the other three passengers were booked on the same flight as us- now that does not sound like a coincidence to me. Quite simply very poor service both from & to the airport. I guess you really do get what you pay for- never again will I use this company- Fethiye Airport Transfers provide a far more professional, polite & efficient service
-
Just arrived back from my holiday, used pegasus due to the offer on cbf, was extremely impressed with the service, private transfer both ways, very pleasant and punctual staff, £60 dalaman to Ovacik return. Also good price for a car hired in May Will use again. Thank you Mutlu.
-
I can hardly call this a recommendation, but I booked with Dalaman Car Hire before saw this thread. I used them last year for a family of four. They want £42 each way this year to Calis (they prefer £sterling cash). Last year they were pretty efficient - punctual and a nice, spacious pretty new Mercedes minibus. What I liked was that I actually changed the arrangements last minute for the return and was able to do this via email on my phone which is convenient for me - they (name is Cem) were always quick to come back to me.
Previous year I went via the hotel and had the phone-toting driver and a mysterious stop out of route to drop off what appeared to be a bag of cash to a bloke on the roadside. Don't know which company that was.
Personally speaking, I'm happy to pay a few £ extra for this type of thing and will report back on their service this year. I've also got a small-hours arrival time which will be a good test for them.
