Has anyone bought strawberries yet either from the market or the stalls by Kipa ?

We have twice from the one near the big Kipa directly oposite the Mosque.  There are 2 within 50yds, we always go to the first one if you are comeing from the G'basi road, very sweet and some huge ones.  5Tl the same as last year for the same weight.

Been buying strawberries from the markets since late December,just love em.

Yes we've been buying from the market too for the last couple of months, 3TL and 5TL.  Nice, and this is unusual as Turkish fruit usually beats stuff in the UK hands down, but not as nice as the Kent and Sussex strawberries you get in June back in the UK. :P

We have been buying from market for a few weeks not good taste but eatable ,last week 7tl a kg big dark red ones looked good ,absolute rubbish no flavour at all ,it;s the first time we have thrown half a punnet away ,they are all forced at the moment , the guy even gave us one to taste from different tray .ho hum never mind .

The guy up behind Kipa on the corner are the best, always tasty.

Just bought our first batch 2.5tl half a kilo from the market but from Fethiye Yerli Çilek. Lovely  :)
We go and pick our own at their place in Babataşı too.
