Title: Snow In North Wales
Post by: KKOB on March 24, 2013, 14:09:46 PM
Went out for a drive this afternoon to check-out the conditions in the surrounding area. There are trees and branches down on many roads and they've had about 18 inches of snow in the Llangollen area. Didn't expect to see this though !

Those of us who are fortunate enough to own proper 4x4s. Not those 4x4 Lookie Likie Chelsea Tractors and Hairdresser's Jeeps.  ;)

We lived at Garth for 6 months and one of the reasons we decided to move was that we didn't fancy our chances up there in a bad winter.

Mind you, Worlds End is still one of my favourite places for walking the dog.

Not particularly.

Amazing pictures and some that have been on the news, particularly of Arran are just unbelievable.  We count ourselves really lucky that we have had little snow that cleared very quickly.
It will be a strange Easter this year if this bad weather continues.
