The title sounds exactly like flyer from the display of british estate agent window but it is true!
I need all sort of rental properties (ideally long term) , in Calis , Fethiye , Uzumlu, Tuzla, Hisaronu , Ovacik or nearby towns.
I have a list about 15 people looking for long term rental . Please PM me with your details.
PS: I am not an estate agent nor i will charge you a penny for this service, so don't worry, i just happened to have a website on top of google and people have been contacting me , so i am just being nice
-
does really no body have got any property to rent in this forum? or you do you know anybody at least ?
-
Good grief >:(
-
Have you tried http://www.sahibinden.com/en/for-rent-flat/mugla-fethiye/real-estate-agency ? ;)

Well, sorry Bouquet, I should have written it in my native language, which is Turkish! I wonder if you could care to make a little research before writing a comment next time!!!
and for kevin, I have searched there but as soon as I mention to them the tenants are foreigner they change their mind , like there is something wrong with a foreign tenant!!Shocking but true. Which would not be allowed in UK, as you would not care or you are not allowed to choose the nationality of your tenant .
-
In that case I do apologise. Your English is better than my Turkish! You are in Chelmsford though!!

Forgive me ytokgoz but you say you are not an estate agent and that you just happen to have a website.
Is your website www.propertyandturkey.com on which there are properties for rent in Turkey. ???
-
I would suggest perhaps a little more than 4 hours is needed for any response also -
-
ytogoz - have sent you a pm
-
Hi highlander,
yes one of my websites are http://www.propertyandturkey.com , I am the owner of that website, where the individuals and estate agents can list their properties for free either for rent or for sale. and if any body search for long term rent in fethiye etc my website comes on top of google so anybody looking for a rental comes to my website and when they can not find one they email me with their needs and i try to find them a place. but i dont earn money from it , perhaps i should charge money (possibly in the future ) .
i am an estate agent and been estate agent since 2001 , first with apple estates than turkish properties abroad , but in property and turkey involved i am not estate agent here , i own the property portal. I am just trying to be helpful and hopefully it will be the rightmove of turkey sometimes in the future for foreigners . What I do for living is I am a web developer and digital marketing manager for whom knows me they would know that ı love guns and seo.
Mrs bouguet; yes I am Turkish but i live in Chelmsford.
-
Lots to choose from Ytokgoz. I much prefer your property website to the gun site.
Badger , Also from Essex
-
That's worse. I have an absolutely terrifying phobia of guns. It's fine though because I'm nowhere near Chelmsford! :o
-
I don't think the guns are in Chelmsford
-
Eeeeeek!!! I hope they're not in Calis then! : :)
-
More there than in Chelmsford, I'd put money on that ;)
-
ı bet there is a gun at back of the counter in every single shop in calis
-
And in the safe of certain estate agents (now evicted for non payment of rent).
-
Oh mannnnnn!! Don't do this to me please!! :(
-
Don't worry, most people who visit or have lived there have never once seen a gun. I must have been lucky.
-

-
Scunner, have you actually seen someone...actually holding one.....actually with your own eyes??? I would, again....actually..... die! :o
-
Most people on here would confirm I have, yes. It was quite blurred though, what with it being a tad too close to focus on.
-
You are, as they say down south "putting me on!" OMG!!
-
PMSL!
-
Please don't laugh.....I'm bricking it!! Honest. I'm going to hire a servant when I'm there. Don't tell me they'd have a shooter too! :'(
-
I can just imagine when I tell more of my friends that I'm going out there for so long. " Ehh, why are you going for that long?" "To get wasted!" "Why? You don't even really drink?" "I know stooopid....I don't mean that sort of wasted!!"
-
rofl
You'll have a ball Mrs, stop worrying

Stoppit Hyacinth!! ;D ;D ;D You'll be absolutely fine. We've never seen anyone with a gun in 11 years of coming to Calis. Mind you, there's always a first time!! ;)
-
If you could see me now!! In spite of my genuine fear of guns I'm laughing so much right now that the tears are trickling down my legs! :-[
-
ladies, dont worry about guns, the only possible gun you will see is the one between legs of turkish man and that hardly works after couple of bottles of raki :)))
-
Ha ha ha ha ha!! PMSL.... so funny but it sure is good to hear!! ;D ;D ;D
-
I think the saying is your having me on ,not putting me on ,and are you sure it's tears running down your legs ,after reading all those scary letters about gun's . ;)
-
Yes, I'm sure. One of my brothers lived in London for many years and he says if very often! I was laughing so much at the thread and laughter is for sure the best medicine. As long as I don't see a gun, of any description mentioned in this topic, I'll be fine! :)
-
Not wishing to add to your stress Mrs HB, but ................ We always change our sterling at Zumrut Jewellery on the main street in Calis. We know the young man behind the counter quite well. On one occasion, when he was putting the notes which we changed into his drawer, I jokingly implied that there was an awful lot of money there and wasn't he worried that someone would hit him on the head and steal it. He equally jokingly immediately pulled out his gun (the shooting kind) and showed it to me! Moral of this story, don't even joke about it!!! ;)
-
PMSL!! So glad he pulled out the lead variety, though come to think of it, I'm not sure!!!
I'm just going to put all matters relating to guns of any kind right out of my mind! ;D
-
I'm going to hire a servant when I'm there.
Won't Richard be going with you then ?
-
Will probably be reunited with Onslow's car over there too

:o That's where we often change our money too! Once bought some jewellery from him and of course he always remembers us now and 'gives us a good rate'. Think I'll keep quiet about the gun!!
-
Pffft....not me Marina! I'm going to go in there dead brave and ask him straight out. "Would you show me what you keep in your drawers please?" ;D ;D
-
Mrs B, I think you have a feather in your drawers!! ;D ;D
-
;D ;) ;D
Mrs B, I think you have a feather in your drawers!!
Something certainly seems to be tickling her fancy!!! ;D ;)
-
Sadler you took the words right out of my mouth. I've certainly got something Marggie. Laughter makes the world go round for me! ;D ;D ;D
-
Yes, we know Sedat keeps a gun in the drawer. Our neighbours where in one night have a drink with him when Sedat got a call from another Jeweller about some shifty characters hanging around. After a while these guys came and where looking in the window. Sedat opened the draw put his hand on the gun and the guys ran off.
Have to say Mrs B. We always use Zumrut for changing money have had some nice pieces of jewellery from him. So have friends and relatives. So don't worry about going in.
-
Don't worry Jacqui. I'm clued up now. I think I'll swagger around with my own sidearm! ;D ;D ;D
-
Marvellous stuff - a win double I reckon....
-
I'm utterly pmsl here!! If ever a topic went off topic, this one did! ;D ;D
-
It might be hard to find a shop without a gun in the drawer.
-
That's cool Dutchie. I've got super fast reflexes! ;D ;D
-
I have sent you a pm
-
Who Lorraine? Me? If so, I haven't received it.
-
Sorry. Have sent PM (s), to Ytokgoz, but no reply. :(
-
Ahhh...mystery solved Lorraine. I bet he's run away for a bit. I felt really sorry for him because it went right off his topic, MY fault, and he's actually really pleasant and similar age to my own son. I hope he comes back! :(
-
I missed most of this, very good all!
If anyone would like some experience in the ballistics department -- I can see that is going start another round of wonderful vulgarity -- hopefully -- I can recommend a quiet drive in the back streets of Salford around 2 am on most days? :)
Seriously I suspected that there would be a fair amount of firearms around in Turkey, hopefully those who own them are well skilled in their care as well as their operation, it is not something you can leave in a drawer, it needs cleaning and checking at least weekly, and the ammunition needs to be recycled as it can become unstable over the years. They need to be kept secure as well, in my experience more people are shot with their own weapons than any other way!
Meanwhilke Ytogoz I hope to need your help in a year or so when I plan to be in Calis are for 10 months a year!

johntaylor49.....Well......what a relief!! After all the upset over the death of Mrs T today, you, posting this just now has once more sent me into another fit of giggling hysterics!!
Whether on purpose or not, every single thing you have just written, has a double meaning! Soooo funny. Thank you. It's really lifted my mood!!! Absolutely hilarious but it's not vulgar, it's earthy!! ;D ;D ;D

few list of people who can carry a gun on them at any time;
1) muhtar
2) owner of petro lstation
3) bee keepers (the one with many bee hives- min 100 beehives)
3) juwelery shop owners
4)solicitors
5) telecom enginners who often go to repairs in remote places
6) forest guards
this list can go very long, it is just to give you an idea, carrying a gun is just as normal as having a mobile phone in turkey, so don't worry as it wont change anything , so have fun and think twice before you go in to an argument with your neighbour :)
also did you realise that i wrote item number 3 twice ?
you just went up there to check it now didnt you?
:)
-
7) Everyone else
A bee keeper is going to be a damn good shot (and have loads of bullets)
-
Ytokgoz,
Add Farmers to that list. One local Farmer near us shoots regularly at crows and dogs. Our Gardener used to bring his dog with him every day and we knew the dog well as he also spent time in our garden. One year we arrived and no dog. We asked the Gardener where "Peanut" was. "My friend shot him" he said... We were amazed, turned out, his friend, a Farmer shot Peanut because he was pestering the Farmer's female dog. What surprised us was the way the Gardener just accepted this. Turned out the Farmer's dog was pregnant so, the Gardener was given a puppy by the Farmer.
-
Hahahaaa.....yes you nutcase, I did go back to check number 3, and I checked it twice!!
Why would a bee keeper need a gun though?
-
jacquie, for farmers you need lots of land to own a gun..
just for clerification when i say the gun i mean like hand guns or revolvers, other wise in turkey almost every single family has got at least one shotgun...
bee keepers needs guns as they camp in most remote locations to have the best honey and might get burgled.
so i wonder if any body member of here who has got shotgun in uk?
-
About time this was stopped whats guns got to do with flats houses for let .
-
lance couldn't agree more. !!!!! ;D
-
Oh, just wee off you sad, small minded animalistic creatures!! You don't even have the intelligence to enjoy a bit of innocent laughter. If only you knew how sorry I feel for your small minds!
-
Ooh err missus.....
-
Wee off??? I didn't say that! Mine was rather stronger, as deserved!!!
-
Yes and with that your time with us draws to an end. Good luck in Calis, I have an image I can't shift I'm afraid, a lamb...a slaughter...
Respect to other members is our main priority here and while you scream that you aren't getting any, the general view (including mine) is that you are giving any and aren't deserving any. Several unrelated topics have been ruined today and they all have on thing in common, sorry.
-
That foul mouth is running away with you again 'Mrs Bucket'!! My message on a previous thread has been proven true. Can you please try and restrain yourself and show some dignity as your disgusting language is offensive. Maybe you use language like that in your household but it's not appreciated in mine!! Thank you!!
-
Well said CLR . ;)
-
This person must be from the past! Been banned before I guess?
Get rid Scunner - she/he is just a WUM as we say on the footy boards!
-
She is long gone Stoop, it is no longer possible for me to "get rid" ;)
