Sorry Partygirl update on my post we used Passportforpets.com 0800 137321 talk to Ian Seeley they could not do more for our dogs and gave us lot's of info we paid £1700 (but was 3 yrs ago)for the 3 dogs with an overnite stay as we had a early flight and did not want a rush to get 3 dogs to airport and us to the other side of airport & not miss our flight & less stress for dogs also as they can not eat on day of flight.
Hope this helps

I have no idea of the rules in Turkey, but when I brought my lovely Peke to Amsterdam
from Saudi Arabia I was amazed to find I could have her fly with me in a small transit carrier. It uis supposed to be able to fit under the seat but wouldnt quite so they put her in the Toliet for take off. They put her by the galley then but she howled, the cabin crew asked if she would be better on my lap! One happy little dog snoring away and I was so HOT!  :)  I know that Air France also allows dogs in the Cabin if small enough.

I couldnt leave mine behind if I moved permanently

Thank you for all your information. Really helpful. We have had our place in Calis for 9 years this year and was hoping that we may be able to make a move over. No firm plans yet but good to know taking our doggie is relatively easy. Can't leave him here! Have to make do with holiday at the moment and really looking forward to coming over in less than two weeks.  :)
How are you all getting on living in Turkey?

Turkish airlines also allow small dogs in the cabin. But its easier if you go business class.

I wouldn't be impressed if I paid for business class and got someone next to me with some poofy little farting dog in their armpit.
