Title: The nicest man on the forum?
Post by: mercury on April 10, 2013, 22:41:19 PM
Mr H. without doubt.... My new avatar was sent to me via him.  How thoughtful was that?  .Personal msgs of support from him which mean the world to us and his support of our charity is well documented... All this with his own family upset I have the greatest respect for him and Brenda .Our first meeting lead him to say that "Mercury was exactly as I thought she would be" lol. but we know each other very well now and his and Brenda s private support is wonderful....sorry about the grammer H. Much love..Anne and Barrie.. keep your clothes on next time you come. Nop grabbing dolpins half naked  xxx.

I can agree with that mercury, one of the politest members on the forum and on facebook. Have yet to meet personally but I've yet to hear anyone say a bad thing

The nicest man on CBF is Rimms. He's so nice he p1sses me off!

Seriously, there are hundreds of really nice people on here, it's that which makes CBF so good - it's a lovely core of helpful gentlefolk rather than a core of spammers, trolls, gossip mongers and idiots.

Rimms and Highlander if we must choose. Two absolute gentlemen. One I would rather didn't read this  ;)

Agree with the above and want to add although I haven't met Rimms. :
Tinx who works so hard for the animals.  He has certainly not wasted his retirement.  Our conversations have been short but an obvious nice guy.
Scunner you can go on the list too.  You and your wife and family treat me like you have known me for years when I bump into you.  Missed looking out for them at the xmas show last year.

I'm not nice at all, I wouldn't let my wife have a puppy, as Keith pointed out to the World !

The fact is that most of us are nice people on here, that's why we notice so much when a not so nice person comes along.

can't tell you how long....maybe 8 years ? ...that I have been a member of the forum, and I can honestly say we have met the nicest, most caring, helpful and honest people though this forum.  we have met friends that are the true sense of the word 'friends', and we hope shall remain so until we are popping up daisies  :)  Best thing I ever did was sign up to be a member of this forum.   too many lovely people to mention....and its been our luck and priviledge to call them 'friends'.  A wonderful bunch of wee-heads, each and every one   ;) :D

Good grief :-[

Thank you so much mercury. If our private correspondence has helped in any small way, then Brenda and I are very glad that it has.

I know it’s not at all like him, but I think on this occasion, scunner is correct when he said “there are hundreds of really nice people on here, it's that which makes CBF so good - it's a lovely core of helpful gentlefolk”.

The support Brenda and I received between 04 and 16 April 2012 from members of this Forum is something we will always remember, as I will always remember scunner’s thought at that time.

Thanks to others for kind words  :)
