So he left the pub with a Newcastle scarf wrapped round his face walked into the melee by accident and then 'defended' himself against the aggressive horse - HILARIOUS !!!!!!

I hear he's crapping himself because someone gave his address out and now he's worried about the animal rights fraternity.

I don't condone violence against anyone or anything but the thought if him hiding behind the curtains makes me all warm inside  :)

I have never heard such a load of rubbish.  A filing drops out so he puts a scarf around his face and then just by accident gets involved in a fight with police and then punches a horse... The punishment he gets from the courts would not be half as bad if the animal rights people get a hold of him.   Or, come to think of it my Daughter in Law who is already fizzing since I told her about this incident : :) :o  ;)

Terrible behaviour on a few levels. Apart from hitting the horse, he is claiming to be disabled. Genuine disabled people are stressed out worrying their benefit is going to be cut while they weed out the cheaters.

I was outside Lords Cricket Ground with a group of friends from work. One, a well behaved middle aged lady, was terrified when a police horse reared up. Uncharacteristically, she swore, not very loudly, but admitted she swore and yes she was arrested and charged with swearing at a horse.
Went to court and was fined £50 and now has criminal record.

I meet disabled people from all end of the scale through my job, from those with the most dreadful conditions, who are generally very accepting, nice, well adjusted people, who fill me with admiration and humility at the end of the day, as I have nothing really to worry about in comparison, to those at the other end of the scale who leave me gobsmacked with amazement at the claims they make. It's a funny old world, no doubt about that.

I am not one who is easily shocked by the actions of the old bill, but this story has me gobsmacked .. I am still sitting here shaking my head and wondering whether this is a wind-up or whether the world is truly going mad around me ??? ???
