Title: Water & Electric Service Charge
Post by: teetee on April 29, 2013, 15:49:24 PM: Have just had an email from our maintenance company saying that we have to pay a service charge for these services this year, is this normal as I do not remember having to pay this in the last 5 years?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Post by: littlereddevil on April 30, 2013, 14:27:43 PM: Yes it seemed to be a charge for when we had no usage,cos when we were there in April we had our normal bills. We hadn't been there since October and had no bills until February when it was 23.70 then same in March, another 23.70ytl .
They've probably decided it is a good way to get extra money. And of course they wouldn't send a letter explaining

According to the maintenance company they have now decided to charge us for paying our services bills which they have done as part of the service which they have offered over the last 6 years......and as I asked member on CBF what is an average cost off annual maintenance on a site of apartments and they seemed expensive at about £730 a year each, well I think I will be looking for recommendations for a change to put to the other owners when the renewal comes around!!!
