Are mobility scooters available to hire in Calis or Fethiye ???????.
We will be in Calis from 3 rd june for 20 days and following my Spinal Root Nerve block recently plus a tear in a disk i will not be able to walk far from the Oykun ,
To make matters worse my wife recently has had a unrepairable ruptured shoulder tendon so is unable to push me about.
there is no problem at the hotel as there are ramps to all ground floor areas from the outside road.i just need to get out and about
Can anyone advise please.
thanks in advance .

There is a place on the one way street in Fethiye (where the banks are) it's on the right hand side and has lots of wheelchairs etc., outside. Also, I think I remember Jim Fraser saying one of the hospitals in the area hire them out. Give Jim a p.m. as he lives in Fethiye he will probably be able to give you the most up to date information.

The place that Jacqui is refering to is called Acil Medikal & it's on the LHS going away from HSBC & is almost level with the pelican crossing. I don't think that the hospital do mobility scooters, but Olga at Interturk did arrange hire of an electric wheelchair for one of my neighbours, so she may be worth a try. You can contact her via CBF member Cenk.

I believe the place behind the Devlet that hires manual wheelchairs does scooters too, it's at the back of the hospital by the A&E entrance Ron.

I think we should remind you of the parlous state of many pavements,ie. missing blocks and very high kerbs in a lot of places although I`m sure it must of occurred to you. :-\

My Mam brings hers with her,you just need to notify the carrier and they will sort it.Then you need a transfer big enough to take it ,she gets around great.
