I hope this doesn't appear rude but I just want to know where this property is in Calis. I have emailed asking the agent twice now and had no reply. I am very interested in it.
Even if you don't own it but recognise it and can tell me where it is, I'd be very grateful.
Please PM if you wish.
Thank you

not to sure but it looks like atlas complex near the canal near the upside down now normal bridge
-
Yes I would have said it was Atlas, by the old upside down bridge along canal ...( now a normal bridge )
-
Definitely not Atlas, but these are in that general area. I don't know the name. I think Steve A owns one like this (I can't remember how I know that) - maybe not this one but he may know who the seller is...
-
Think its one of a small complex of about 5 villas on sokak 980(1297) down from the Kaan Hotel towards the sea on the same side. The end of these villas sort of backs onto The Melek I think.
-
Yep these are definitely next to the Melek. I pass them on my way home as BM Bulvri is such a mess.

Being a reputable Estate Agency, & having done all of the groundwork involved, incl. advertising, European Estates can certainly be forgiven for not releasing details of their clients properties to anyone dropping them an E-mail. There have been far too many instances of the seller being approached "on the fly", by buyers attempting to rob the Estate Agent of their hard worked for commissions. If you are REALLY interested in buying the property, take a walk/dolmus to the office & declare your interest.
-
Yes they are near our place. Up Baris Manco Bulvari to Ayden Pide, turn left past the Melek Hotel, turn first right and about 50 yards up.
-
There are a couple of the same style Villas for sale on Palm Grove which is over the canal behind the Pelin Hotel.
-
Might be a bit difficult to walk to the office if he is in the uk.and why wouldnt the agent give details to somebody that is interested in a property.
not a good advert for the agent if they dont reply to emails.
-
Thank you for your help, everyone.
GordonA - I get your point entirely but I have no intentions of trying to 'do' any Agent out of their commission. And I am very serious about buying a property in the Fethiye area. In fact it is more like obsession!
I don't think it is an odd request to want to know the address of somewhere you may be considering buying, is it? Although I'm probably impatient and didn't give the agent long enough to reply, especially as it is more than likely their busiest time.
I'm trying to build up a portfolio of properties that I want to view when I am over in Calis in September. And the more info I have the more I can ensure I am only spending time viewing suitable properties.

Sue from European Estates has been in touch and been most helpful. And thanks to the forum member who knows the property well ;)
-
Menthol, I in no way said that you were trying to do anything untoward, I merely pointed out a reason as to why you had no replies to your E-mails, apologies if it seemed directed at you personally.
-
I accept your apology GordonA. ;)
Apart from maybe 2, all the agents have been very good and some, including European Estates, have been excellent.
-
I would say DON'T use Emlek Adres (Estate Agent) based upon my experiences with them!!
-
European Estates are currently involved in trying to find a buyer for our property, & have an extremely professional approach to the task.
-
Thanks for the advice WendyA.
And yes GordonA, Sue from European Estates has been brilliant. Their website possibly has the most property photos than any other site.
It's so frustrating to start looking at a property online that seems to fit your criteria only to find there's 5 photos in total and the agent says they don't have anymore. And please Agents; stop photographing toilets so much. It's a toilet. It's not going to sell the house to me.
Good luck with your property sale, GordonA!

If you want to play a game of "find the bog" try property ref. FHF60 on the European Estates site. It is there but it took me 10 minutes to find it :)
-
have you tried searching a property on propertyandturkey.com ? i am trying to connect all estate agents and private buyers under same roof . many expats advertised their properties for free there and may found your self a bargain.
