I thought about applying on-line but surely the price is wrong?
(Turkey Electronic Visa (eVisa))
E-Visa is an endorsement that allows the bearer to enter Turkey.
It replaces "sticker" and "stamp - type" visas formerly issued at the border crossing. E-Visa is only valid for Tourism or Business purposes.
Your eVisa will cost 27.99 GBP

It used to be $20 when they first started it (about £13).
-
I found another site yesterday that was asking for 20 dollars then I read another post on the Forum which said that their e-visas had not been accepted at Dalaman and they had to go and pay £10 before being allowed entry.
-
I have used my E-visa at Dalaman airport twice along with 5 of my family. No problems at all.

This is the official website

There are some scam sites, yours looks like one of them.

This little statement appears in the payment section;
"Turkey eVisa Visitor Visa will charge you a service fee of 27.99 GBP
which includes the government fee of 20 USD"
-
Just shows how easy they can scam some people.
-
Yes you :D
-
Lol - no - didn't buy it. Checked here first :)
-
I assume you did a search and this (dodgy) website came out higher than any official one. That is their biggest weapon.
-
It did! I was also very busy packing cases/ charging batteries/sorting cameras/printing boarding passes, etc etc. so I can see how someone who did not know its normally £10 to get a visa might fall for this.
Let it be a warning to all who have never been before :)
-
I just went to buy three but being "careful" (ie tight) I bailed when it said $20 as that works out to an extra tenner and if I'm going to be waiting for suitcases, I might as well wait in line for a visa sticker.
