Title: Gatwıck to Dalaman Thoms Cook flıght delay

Looks lıke the Thomas Cook flıght from Gatwıck at 9am TCX1786 due at Dalaman at 15.00 ıs delayed and not leavıng UK till 14.00 so there wıll be a long delay at Dalaman before ıt flıes back to UK.

Oh dear, not good, hopefully everyone in Calis knows and enjoys the sunshine for a bit longer, instead of sitting a the airport .

You must check-in on time even if you know the flight is delayed.....

Half way to aırport and got same text and told to check ın at 22.30 but update wıll be at 19.00. Oh well my daughter can have another swım. All those ın Hotels wıll have to be at the airport i expect. Glad I am not a Thomas Cook rep today.

Looks like they are bringing a plane into Dalaman from somewhere other than Gatwıck as ıt says plane on route at Dalaman departures and we are ınformed ıt says arrıvıng at Gatwıck at 2.45 am. Flıght from Gatwıck still delayed on departures board..

Laura B , you don't have to check in at the original time if you have received a text from airline before check in time telling you to check in at a later time, this happened to us a few weeks ago, we were delayed 4 hours going to Minorca and received a text just as we got up at a hotel at gatwick airport, so e went back to bed  :)  the text said to check in at a later time, you just have to make sure you have the correct details so you don't miss the flight.

A friend of ours have just informed us from Dalaman airport that the flight is due at Dalaman now at 01.00 hrs, due in at Gatwick at 05.00 am , what a delay !!!!

Fınally flew at about 12.30 am.   Mechanıcal fault they are sayıng. Better to be safe.

Yes got to dalaman about 12.15 last night and Pegasus were ready and waiting and got to calis just before 2am. I spent 2 hours this afternoon in cagatays dentist chair trying to keep awake lol

I wont be claiming for delay just grateful it did not take off with a mechanical fault. Some things are unavoidable and from this end in Turkey they did all they could to keep us informed .
