Title: Shaka/Dolmus stop

Morning, if catching the dolmus from Calis to Fethiye, at what landmark/street would you get off to be able to walk down to Shaka Resteraunt.

You should walk along the sea and then you would go straight to it.

My guess is it would need to be the Sahilden Dolmus and I too would like to know a landmark to watch for so we can get off close by.

cant be too far from the tax office. I always look out for the shop with big Saat 24 sign, next set of lights after Tansas coming from Calis maybe?? That side road will bring you to the tax office and the newer restaurants on the prom.

The big blue council bus stops by the hospital on the side street, once an hour. Not sure what time though.It is either the one that leaves fethiye on the hour or half past, i can't remember which. The alternate one goes along the Migros road.

Get off the Sahilden dolmus at the first roundabout after Tansas, turn right towards the sea & it's just about facing you as you reach the prom

It leaves Fethiye on the half hour,or if you are coming from Calis,on the hour.  :)

Thank you, we normally cycle along the prom to Fethiye - but wanted a meal out in the evening and did not fancy cycling back. Will try the stop after Tanzas and see where it takes us.

It's a few down from Tansas.
Look for Gohilsar Mobilya on the left or adnan Ofis.
About 2 stops further down I'd say.

If you get off at the roundabout/traffic lights (heading Calis to Fethiye) AFTER Tansas head towards the sea, past Tax offices on your right. When you get on the prom then Shaka is the first restaurant on your left.  ;D

We tried this yesterday evening, got of the dolmus at the dolmus stop a few streets after Tansas, short walk down to the prom, then a short walk along the prom to Shaka. Great Resteraunt with fine food at a reasonable price - we shall be going again - Fethiye/calis seems to be moving upmarket!
