Can someone tell me please how I stand regarding I have two seats paid for with Easyjet later this month, looks like hubby can not make it now and as you ahve to check in online with them now will I still check him in for the flight? reason I ask is I went to check myself in yeterday and select a seat for £3 but it would not let me do just me I had to check in all passengers, as I have paid for his seat would it be worth me paying £3 each to check in online and use both seats obviuosly if it is two seats together ;)or will I not be able to use both seats on the flight?thanks to anyone who knows or may have done this in the past... :)

Yes if it's worth the £3 you can check him in online. It may not stop them taking someone who is standby for example, once it becomes apparent that he won't be flying. But that's fairly unlikely I would say.

this happened to me one trip had a spare seat tole the lady at check i wanted to use both seats as i had paid for them and she gave me a ticket with the seat number and no name.

Ok thanks folks I will decide what to do today :)

Might be simplistic, but my guess is that you have bought 2 seats so technically they are yours.

I suppose that if you check him in, their headcount and manifest will be wrong, so you will need to tell them on board in case of emergencies (god forbid it should happen!!)

The headcount must come from the gate rather than the check in. There's plenty of people who check in online and then don't use the flight.
