Title: Things Must Be Grim at The National Lottery
Post by: Scunner on September 20, 2013, 13:42:48 PM
I used to do two pounds a week by direct debit (and made a significant loss overall). I got emails saying it was going up from £1 to £2 a line and you had to agree to continue or it would stop. I decided I don't want to pay twice as much for a line so just let it expire.

They phoned me to see if I'd change my mind!!!

It's a fine line here.  So they didn't press you to continue, but it is gambling, which can't be seen to be                encouraged? Also, somebody has to run the lottery hot lines. This is all factored in and no money is lost from the funding.  Lottery money has made a huge difference and should be recognised.

Better off playing the Turkish 6/49 lottery at the lottery terminal up the road from Calis in Gunlukbasi. You get eight lines for £2 there, not just one. Prize money isn't too bad, either... check it out here:   http://www.millipiyango.gov.tr/sonuclar/_cs_sayisal.php

There are more people within the Camelot organisation who have become VERY rich since starting up the lottery, than there are million pound winners !! Fact !!
