Title: EHIC card
Post by: bewva on September 24, 2013, 20:43:10 PM
Just looked to get a EHIC card (old E111 Card) for my son who's going to Tenerife in a couple of weeks. We have never had them before as we have been going to Turkey for 15 years. I mistakenly thought they were free (Naive I know) but £23.50 each is a bit steep. :o

CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION

They ARE free

Avoid sites that make a charge for them, scammers!

You also need to be careful online when doing passport applications or mail redirection as scammers will also charge. The official sites will allow you to complete forms online for which there is no charge but many people are taken-in by the scammers and pay thinking the fee charged is for the genuine service.
