Hi Everyone
My name is Debbie and my husband is Brian, as most of you out there we love Turkey and in particular Calis. We have been coming to Calis for eleven years and we have made many friends. It is great to finally be part of this great forum as we have been logging on for a long time but unable to register-the kind Mr Scunner came to our rescue. We hope eventually to buy our little piece of heaven in the sun, but for now we are grateful to pick up useful tips off everyone and share our little bit of knowledge of the area

Welcome to the forum.  We have been going to Turkey for over 8 years and eventually bought our place last year - and so glad we did.  Hope you find your piece of heaven too!

Thank you all for a warm welcome it is lovely to be around people who feel the same way we do . Valentine we are from a small village outside of Warrington and although it's now part of Cheshire it was originaly part of Lancashire. Brian has had canaries over the years and a friend called him "fettler" and since then the name has stuck!

            i am very close by in a small village inside St.Helens.We too were in Lancashire unitil we were robbed by them Liverpool people and put into merseyside.

Hi, Welcome to the Forum. We have only just got back as well but having the forum is the next best thing to actually being in Calis. We took the plunge last year with the help of Scunner and Heidi and haven't looked back. Now all we do is plan for the next visit and count the days until we can retire!
