Hi,

We are just buying our first property in Dalaman ( quite nice 4 bed villa, 2 bathrooms etc etc ) and quite conveniently they are building a golf course ( or two or three ) in the area within 20 mins of where we are. As we are golfers ourselves, it is quite handy to know.It will be finished in time for March'ish next year, so I will keep the forum informed of it's progress if anyone is interested in finding out more about our details.

Welcome to the forum Dave, i got rid of all my clubs before we moved out as there were no courses in the close vicinity, it now appears i have made a mistake in getting rid of them.

At last a golf course is being built, there have been plenty of rumours but no sign of any untill now. Keep us informed of its progress and where it is.

We went to Sarigerme today to look at some villas at very reasonable prices adjacent to the soon to be Golf course.

I think I spotted one of the new courses when we took off in July. I could just make out the fairways and bunkers. Don't think I was dreaming!

It will be great to have a course just 30 - 40 mins away from Calis.

Hello there, am a new member too!  This golf course is going to make it harder and harder to find a reson to stay in the UK!  The area has almost everything we have back here, but with the bonus of sunshine.  It will be fantastic for you to be able to just stroll accross to the golf course on one of those many sunny mornings - oooh am jealous now!!  Regards Amanda (Nursejelley)
