It would be nice to have some information on how this was defined and measured but I don't doubt the findings. In Western Europe three of the countries that have fared the worst in the recession - Greece, Portugal and Italy come out badly. The rest are in Eastern Europe plus Turkey where we all know energy costs relative to average wage are horrendous.

i have friends in denizli who are paying 700 tl a month for dogal gaz and still freezing - they daren't turn it any higher. mind you its a 350 square metre house
