Or a group of French rugby fans. Many moons ago. I was working in an hotel in the centre of London, on the morning of the French match, not one but three cockerels were strutting around one of the bedrooms!

Most bizarre lost property items over the years were a blow up doll, which the room maid thought was a murder victim, as only the leg was sticking out from under the bed & a set of false teeth
