Title: RIP Trigger
Post by: Scunner on January 16, 2014, 12:28:20 PM
BBC News reports that Roger Lloyd Pack has died, aged 69. Definitely best known as Trigger in Only Fools & Horses, a magnificent role.

A magnificent role indeed - who can forget the "same" brush he had for all those years. Also him looking around when Del Boy fell through the bar hatch - genius stuff.

R.I.P

Great in the Vicar of Dibley too.  He was though a serious luvvy actor, and whilst he could play the comedy roles so well, he could also act magnificently on more 'serious' roles.

Really saddened to hear this on the lunchtime news.  Absolutely brilliant as Trigger, one of my favourite characters from a superb series.  And no age really at 69.  :(

RIP Roger.

Obviously the broom but probably my favourite, talking about names for Del & Raquel's baby:

Mike: What name have they decided on?

Trigger: If it's a girl they're calling it Sigourney after an actress, and if it's a boy they're naming him Rodney after Dave

Superb actor. He and trigger were made for each other.

Sooooo sad today on hearing the news about dear old Trig he has provided so many laffs in our house over the years, why does the b******d C  never seem to claim the lives of scum of the earth like the nutcase Ian Brady or Ian Huntley who would not be missed by anyone, it is always the good/nice people that seem to have to go early...R.I.P Roger...
