Title: Don't complain about the price of Efes!

Returning from our holiday on Sunday, we arrived at our stopover Istanbul hotel at 1am, the room was hot, air con not working & tap water was warm so as my mouth was like the Sahara I took a can of Pepsi from the mini bar. There was no price list but I was gasping, although not as much as I was when the receptionist on Monday said - that's 11 Lira please! That's more than 700% up on the shop price.  :'(

Same as in Mini-bars in the UK , you'll never get it for "shop prices" !!

We where staying in an Hotel at the weekend.  I looked at the prices of the Mini Bar £7.50 for a very small bottle of wine (like the ones you get on the plane),  However two bottles of water were free as was a bowl of fruit.

Anyone know how much Efes will be at Antalya airport around 10pm on 29th August ?

I would take a guess at 100 lira, and I wouldn't  pay that, so I would only have a half KKOB.  ;)  :)
