Title: wood burner or multi fuel and supplier ?

im thinking about getting either of the above but not sure which would be best (wood or multi fuel) and would like a reputable supplier , we have a 3 bedroom villa so would want a decent size stove , does anyone have an idea of a good place to buy and person who fits them and any idea of cost .thanks

Probably the best, though not the cheapest, in the area is PUS, a fairly comrehensive range inc prices is on their website  http://www.woodstoves-turkey.com/ They supply & install

We have had a PUS multıfuel for 4 years and no problems. Not cheap though.

PUS definitely the best.  We have had one for 3 years and it is the best buy we have made in Turkey. Tolga Sevinc, the owner of the company imports the stoves from Dorset in England which is why they are more expensive but then you get what you pay for - and you save on having to redecorate the lounge every year  from a smoky cheaper model  :)

Or you could go to a company called ALARKO which has a shop on the Fethiye -  Oludeniz road in Tasyaka.

The owner, Hakan, (0532 6135501) supplied and installed us  a PRITY multi-fuel burner which runs the central heating and has a baking oven also. Again not the cheapest but very efficient.

i was thinking of getting one installed whilst the exchange rate is still good , so saving some money from the last time i enquired when the lira was about 2.2 or do you think they will have adjusted their prices to compensate the good rate now ? thanks

If the products are imported then it's highly likely that the supplier pays for them in lira which means he has to pay more lira to settle his invoices. If he has a large European customer base, he might charge Euro and choose to settle his supply costs in Euro which would limit any increase but I think that is less likely.
