Title: new dalaman tunnel

We realy need another tunnel at dalaman to stop all those terrible queues at the pay booths ,i dont think, what a waste of our money,and now they are going to start from the other end  whats the betting they dont meet in the middle .

Lance, they started at the other end months ago! They are making another tunnel so it will be one way each way. What is wrong with that? Lots of traffic use this tunnel, certainly in the summer months.  I certainly don't think it is the queues at the pay booths but you would hope the safety aspect has help make this happen. How is it a waste of 'our' money??

I dont think I have queued more then 4 or 5 cars at the toll booths. More than can be said for the Mersey tunnel.

Maybe they could have used a bit of speculation and made it 2 lanes each way from the start.

Since when have Turks worried whether the road is wide enough!!
