Tom has posted some pics on his facebook page since his operation ,must have been serious poor bugger ,all the best mate .

I was going to say this is very sad but NO! that is empathetic and Tom is a fighter.  We cannot imagine how anyone feels deep in their heart or in their mind when something like this happens, because they put on a brave face for their family and friends so we have to be positive, look forward and plan for the future.  Tom has certainly been through the mill but every day he will get a little bit stronger and if he looks back a few months and thinks back to those times he will see that he has come a long way. Fight fight fight and leave behind any negative thoughts.  It might be raining today but the sun WILL shine.  Life changes for everyone everyday but we are resilient and we can adapt.  I don't wish Tom well, I KNOW he will be well.  Sometimes wishes don't come true but being positive and knowing, THAT is CERTAIN.
