Title: market days and holiday dates.

I am sure I printed off the Turkish main holiday dates and market days from on here. Now I can,t find either. Would somebody be so kind to repost them please.

Main market days are:

Saturday Patlangic
Sunday Calis & Gocek
Monday Hisaronu
Tuesday Fethiye
Friday Fethiye "farmer's market"

Holidays, all from 3Cs calendar   ;): 19th May - Atuturk day
27th - 30th July - end of Ramazan
3rd - 7th October - Kurban Bayram

Also Ciftlik market day is Thursday.

I have given all my 3Cs calendars away ...... does anyone know when Children's Day is this year, please?

I keep a calendar for myself, so just had a look, it's the 23rd April..  St George's Day and Shakespeare's birthday (and also the day he died).. :D

Calica / Karaculha Market is also on a Saturday. A bit less touristy than some of the other Fethiye ones. Also, there's often small livestock, ducklings, jakes 'n jennies and chicks etc for sale. It's a very friendly market but you do tend to get starred at more because they don't get the huge number of tourists and expats that the others get.

slikmrs - from the main otogar roundabout take the Antalya signposted route - its a about 2.5 miles along that very straight road and located in a covered area behind a BiM shop on the left hand side of the road.
