Hi. Never been to Calis before but heard many good reports hence I'vebooked for 1 week in june instead of our regular Icmeler holiday. However I would be interested to know exactly where our hotel is in relation to Calis centre. We've booked the Tugay Hotel in homage to a wonderful football player! Or are we in a different place altogether - voyage of discovery ha! Any info would be gratefully received. Cheers

babsnn. there are a lot of really nice hotels in calis some are better than others. tugay according to reports seems okay. down the end of the prom but has an excellent access for dolmus to fethiye. remember tugay playing in Scotland for rangers. quite a player.

Being near the Prom is a great spot - you have all those bars and restaurants to try.
Hope you enjoy Calis.

It depends on your hotel budget. I live near the hotel and it is okay nothing special.

The Tugay gets a good write up from lots of people. One of our members Toky stayed there and seemed to enjoy it. Just be careful crossing the dual carriageway and look out for pushbikes and scooters which often travel on the wrong side of the road. We use that road to get to our place and often see scooters coming in the opposite direction Also don't wear all dark clothing at night as there is little lighting along there.
Tugay always looks good when we pass by and there is an excellent restaurant just opposite called the Amber Pide which we have used and can recommend. They have an oak fuelled oven to cook the pides. they also do take away. They have a bowling green too if you are interested in that sport.

We were spoiled rotten when we stayed at the Tugay. There were only 2 other rooms in use and we had the freedom of the place. Its basic, clean and family run. The pool area is its best feature and can you believe it only cost £56 per week for B&B!!!!! I believe Thomson took over the rooms last season , but notice its bookable to all again this year. Ayden Pide across the road is great for snacks too. There is a large supermarket directly across the main road if you need to stock up.There's also a small fridge in the room. :)

We called into the Tugay as we were considering booking it. It is a family run place and has a lovely crystal clear pool. Due to unforeseen circumstances we never got to go, but would definitely have stayed there but for that. ;)

It's Amber Pide Toky, the other one is on B.M.B. We always use Amber Pide for take away as our place is not far from them. ;D :o :-*
