Title: Wizz / Spin/ 360 degree mop
Post by: SteveJ on March 19, 2014, 13:14:48 PM
We've got one of those mops that spins itself dry when you pump the handle up and down. The mechanism inside the handle which does the spinning has broken so I just want to replace the mop but I can't find anywhere that sells JUST the mop. All the shops and sites that I've tried want to sell the mop and bucket together as a set but the bucket that we have is fine so why am I being forced to buy another one?

Does anyone know where I can buy just the mop without forking out for an unwanted bucket?

Is the magic mop, where you press on mop bucket?, if so got mine from saffet at ovacik garden centre.if you show him a pic of what you want he can usually get it for you.

mmmm - and there's me thinking that I had described the problem quite well.  I don't want to export the mop so I was sort of hoping someone would know of a UK store or site where I can buy the mop (without the bucket)  but thanks anyway.

Thanks for the PM Gordon. It would appear that you can not buy just the mops in the UK , you have to buy the set and then throw away a perfectly good bucket but thanks for the responses and the odd sarkky comment :)

It's annoying that products are made without spares, so you have to buy the whole thing.  We have a toilet in the bathroom (made in Turkey).  It has a soft close seat.  The soft close option broke, it had the facility to repair it once, which was done.  It broke again and when my son checked (he is a plumber) the only option left was to buy a whole new seat at the cost over £100.  They do have them on Ebay for £75.00 this was the cheapest we could see.   >:(

in Turkey, bring it back to the UK and get it to you here. Missed opportunity. ?

Yeah I realised that after re-reading her response (sorry Bernie) but even with my most selfish head on I couldn't expect someone cart a five foot long mop through customs at Dalaman just to save me a few quid  ;D
