Title: Is it very quiet on CBF or something more scary???
Post by: Ian on March 25, 2014, 13:09:29 PM
Never known it this quiet - is it possibly because a lot of people are having patchy connection problems?

We have been without broadband today until half hour ago.  I prefer the cock-up theory over any close down of the t'interweb conspiracy, someone turned off the power somewhere or some similar explanation.

It was announced yesterday that TTNET were intending to "close down" t'interweb , between 0800 hours and 1800 hours, today, in order to carry out essential work. Make of it what you will !!

I think that later TTNET issued a statement saying this was untrue.

Wherever CBTers are it doesn't seem that they will be watching the scandalous videos that were promised. The only new thing out is a rather dull audio tape of a telephone conversation between Erdogan's (married) son and his foreign girlfriend. Not the sort of thing to topple governments.

Nothing much happening (or not happening) in Istanbul.  No interruptions to our service, so far.

Or could be that a lot of us are having to do longer hours at work.

Hopefully when clocks go forward on Sunday
We will have more time .
