Hi All,
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but here goes. I have some items I want to send back to the UK. Some items are bulky and my total send is about 80 kilos. I have had a quote from FedEx and they want about £550 to send this stuff. So, does anyone else have any ideas? Or, does anyone know of anyone returning in a van or a container who may have some extra capacity. Thank you all in advance.

Stephan from The Card Shop in Fethiye is travelling to the UK soon - they have a Facebook page called Anything Goes From England and do regular van runs between Turkey and the UK.
I'm sure he takes stuff the other way too - might be worth asking? Assuming you're not in a desperate rush to do it this week or something!

Word of warning re "The Card Shop" - Stefan does not always carry out his promises on times/goods insurance/deliveries etc & yes, I speak from personal experience not Efes hearsay.
-
And it is an entirely illegal operation.

If he has any problems at any of the borders your stuff will be confiscated or ditched and your goods aren't covered for insurance purposes.

My Sister in Law used Stephan at the Card Shop in Fethiye to move some of her belongings from Dingwall in the Highlands to her home in Calis Beach and was delighted with the service. Everything arrived safely. :D

Thank you all for your comments. I do know that the Turks, bless them have no problem with stuff going in, save for electricals etc. but stuff going out, I have heard of problems.
Anyway, if anyone hears of a scheme or the methods I mentioned, perhaps someone could let me know.
Thank you very much.

I brought a trailer load of our stuff back to the UK from Turkey last May, including loads of electrical stuff. The only borders that I had a problem at was the Serbian ones.
