Title: Jet 2 Easter Offers
Post by: Jacqui Harvey on April 17, 2014, 19:58:00 PM
Jet 2 have a strange offer on just now.  Look at there website, see an egg crack and then, if you wish, take advantage of the offer.  :o  ;)

Me to, their services are no good to me but they seem popular with people who stay near the Airports Jet 2 use.

No Sadler, I am not stupid, like a lot of people on this Forum I sometimes make mistakes, but for some reason Scorcher seems to be totally intimated by me and so, I am the only member he closely follows and points out with childish joy any error I make.   I do feel sorry for him, but if he is happy doing this, is its O.K. with me.   So don't be so naive as to think I don't know what he is doing.
I will wait and make a real mistake next time Highlander is asking for Charity Donations, but, on reflections I don't think he reads those threads.

Oh Jaqui, I am sorry if I have hit a sore spot, it was totally unintentional.  My comment was meant as humour, hence the winking smiley.  I am positive that I have seen you pick up typo errors made by members in the past and meant it in the same vein.   ;)

On the subject of charitable contributions however, I am quite shocked at your outburst to Scorcher.  I do positively know that there are several members of this forum who make very generous contributions to the various charities on here anonymously.  Your comment was quite uncalled for!  >:( >:( >:(

Ah JH you are by no means stupid. Many moons ago you rather loftily pointed out that spelling restaurant correctly was beyond the wit of a lot of forum members. Now this from someone who fails to differentiate the difference between advice/advise, loose/lose ,there/their etc and your curious use of capital letters.
Not too clear how I might be "intimated" by you but I am in awe of your ability to hold forth on any topic under the sun. Now I'm fully aware that you are well able to look after yourself - you avatar says it all. Anyone who can smile so beatifically after being divebombed by some seagull deserves huge respect. I tip my fascinator to you! And I would just also point out that I now work for a charity in my retirement and my wife is CEO of another. Luv and kisses - and I want you on my pub quiz team please!.   :)

I agree Scorcher, my fingers engage before my brain does and I do make grammar mistakes when typing, this comes from typing at 60 wpm and not checking thoroughly, however, I am at a lose or maybe loose (that will make you happy) to understand why you follow me around and check my postings all the time.  i think you have an obsession with me.  i once commented on the spelling of "restaurant" when it was asked which word is spelled incorrectly the most and have never been forgiven by you.  There are lots of spelling errors on this forum, but you alway seem to have great joy in picking me up.  I know you have been warned in the past (yes, i have a good memory too) to stop doing this.  However, if it makes you happy who am I to stop you.
It's refreshing to see you writing so much for a change, usually it's just a one line of snide comment.

Jacqui, I'd like to be intimated if you can drag yourself away from Scorcher's clutches.  ;)

I think Jacqui's point is that this forum can do so much positive, and it's a shame when some come here just to contribute negativity. It has been going on for ages, not just to Jacqui but to menthol from pretty much the day she arrived here. I have personally and discreetly asked scorcher to stop this stalking of strong minded females, which he did for a day or two at most.

So I'm asking again, for the last time. If it's spelling and grammar errors that interest you, can I once again recommend Facebook.

I often hear people saying that but we've always managed to get great prices with Jet2 (although never used them to Dalaman). Latest one was EDI to Alicante, no bags or extras, £96 each return. You can't get a train to London and back for that.

I recently booked with jet2 to take back 3 bags, booked a seat and paid £233..However, after my accident am unable to go. I spent 2 lots 35 mins in a queueing system waiting for call centre to answer. When I explained they said cancel flight, I questioned this, stating they could forward the date. He went off to speak to a supervisor, came back and agreed to do it. Although the new flight was cheaper, they said it was more than if I had booked on line, and made me pay £62 more. This included admin fee. I paid it,as I am just grateful to be booked on a flight without doing the whole insurance thing. This is my first flight with jet2,so mixed emotions so far..

I take your point. In truth I have never taken a checked in suitcase on any Jet2 flight. It's amazing how long one pair of pants and a wife can last you.

Well hubby and I have used Jet2 several times and found them good. The leather seats are quite spacious and dont recline.......a great idea on short haul flights IMHO. We've been trying to fit in week's holiday  to Calis in what's an extremely busy year, and every time we looked, it was stupid money. We checked Thomas cook, Easyjet and Jet2. Then lo & behold, I did my thing about deleting cookies and went on to Jet2 again. To my surprise, there in front of my eyes, was a week from Glasgow to Dalaman, 1 22kg bag and all taxes, £324 altogether. This was at east £150 less than anything I'd seen previously. #happyholidaymaker.

Last year we were picked up in Calis by the superb Fethiye Airport Transfers at 20:50. Having gone through Jet2 check in,
we found ourselves in Duty Free at 21:10.

Amazing !!!!!

Given the choice I will fly jet2 every time if we can find decent prices as Toky says plenty of legroom no reclining seats 22kg of luggage 10 kg hand luggage (allowed 3 cases each) Ideal for us from 3 of our local airports.
