Hi need some information regarding the dental centre Turkey which is situated between Calis Beach and Fethiye promenade. I went last year for a checkup with a few to having some implants done!
They seemed very professional, and the place was spotless. However we are coming to Calis this year for three weeks, and wondered if anyone has been to them for implants! If so what were they like.
Would appreciate some feedback.
Thanks

There are lots of recommendations on the forum for dentists but I can't say I've seen any for this place.
Have a read at these threads and go from there :)

Hi Laytos do you mean the place along Baris Monaco opposite Sok supermarket, if so I have been told they charge stupid prices in there for their treatments... Personally I would recommend Cagatay Aras who is based in Fethiye, he is a fab dentist spotlessly clean practice and realistic prices... There is loads of info on here re Cagatay, myself I would far rather go to someone who has been recommended especially as it is not in the UK :)

I read a lot of the threads on here about Cagatay , and booked appointment to see him last May when I visited, he was so easy to deal with and came up with a plan to sort my teeth out, I had 4 extractions and temporary dentures fitted and then went back in July to have further treatment , root canal and other repairs and then teeth filed down ready for dental bridges to be fitted 12 teeth upper jaw and 12 lower jaw, I can honestly say throughout the whole process I had no pain and was so pleased with the results and have had no problems since all the work was carried out. I am looking forward to calling in to see cagatays new practise in a couple of weeks

If you contact Rimms on this Forum he had implants. It seems they take longer than three weeks, judging by the blog he put on here about his treatment and he seemed very pleased with the implants.
Also, if you look at the 3C's Charity Auction on this Forum (you can bid online if you are not in Calis for the Auction) Cagatay always very kindly donates treatments and you can get some real bargains. We have benefitted a few times from his generousity in donating to this great Charity.

I actually had an appointment with Çiğdem Yayan on the Tasyaka main road this morning.
My bridge had fallen out and needed fixing back in again. This has happened once before last year and my private dentist in Sheffield re-fixed it to the tune of £75. My time in his chair was less than 10 minutes.
Çiğdem talked me out of having an implant (the gap is too small) or another type of bridge - a cantilever bridge which would cost 400 lira (£114) - as she said the glue/cement she used to fix back in my tooth was especially strong. She wanted to see how it went and should I have any problems, then obviously I return to her and she looks at the other option.
My 20 minute consultation and treatment costs? 30 lira (£8.57) over 9 times less than my UK session.
And she's lovely. Very gentle, softly spoken and it would appear not just out to make big bucks!
