Do any other members cringe at posts their well meaning "friends" make. Here's any example from my experience
"Harriet had a tough time this afternoon. Owing to rain at the wrong time, the west and south west lawns resembled the rough on a golf course. She battled through and tamed most of it. If it stays dry she will finish the job tomorrow"

So glad I'm not on the Facebook! Lol ;)

Facebook is a self-evidently a complex animal lotty. It helps me keep in touch with our many Turkish friends which gives us the greatest of pleasure.
There are, of course. other ways but none as easy, for me, than facebook.
It also provides a vehicle for worthy causes perhaps none more so recently than the appalling tragedy in Soma.
That having been said, I am fully aware of just how dangerous it can be.
Maybe I should be more selective about my friend's list :)
PS Perhaps my posts make my friends cringe on a regular basis :-[ :-[ :-[

As opposed to some very dear friends ;) it is like playing the quiz Double Jeopardy, the answer is given and now we must try to work out the question. love you to bits H.

Aww . . .! I'm sure they don't! Don't mind me, I've not ventured that far yet. ;) ;D

Loz you are so right, I only seem to get bits of peoples conversations, usually the answer to a question. The trouble is I don't know what the question is. I am not sure how I get some of the stuff on my facebook page, then I realise they are friends of friends, who I don't know at all!! 8)

You can restrict things to just friends if you want.

I like Facebook because it's a good way to keep in touch with and see images from people you know. However, some people do not realise the dangers. I have a F.B. friend who has a business and I always wince when he puts on his political views as IMO when you are in business some of your customers, who are also your Facebook friends will have different views to you. it has always been said you should never discuss politics or religion with your customers or push you views down their throats. It's a no no. i have other friends who now tell me they will not use this man's business again because they disagree with him putting his views on F.B.
