I have just been advised that the net total expected to be raised over the two 3C's Promises Auctions is in the region of 22,000 - 23,000 TL - between 6,200 and 6,500 pounds !!!!!! - a record amount raised for the event.
The final figure will be announced once the balance of money is in and expenses are met. This figure includes 1335 TL raised by local runner and 3C’s supporter Murat Prince Askin who ran a timed run from Oludeniz to the auction event on Çalış promenade to raise money for our charity. Well done Murat.
A huge thanks to everybody who supported the event, either by donating promises or bidding on the night or be email. A massive thanks to the 3C's team and auctioneer George who all played a blinder to raise this record massive amount which will all go to funding children's projects in the Fethiye district.

We are so chuffed with the result especially because of all the hard work that goes into this. Well done yet again, all you special people, and not forgetting the donators.....without them there wouldn't be an auction. Thinking of you Chrissie and sorry we missed you. xxxxx

I am privileged to see exactly how much work, over a long period, goes into this event and it is simply staggering.
That is why I confess to getting quite emotional when congratulating everyone involved.
The 3 C’s committee and their local supporters are really wonderful people who deserve every single plaudit they receive.
I can but only add my own – very well done guys and girls.
Well done also to everyone who participated and contributed to such spectacular success.
PS Very well done to Murat, a good friend since our very first visit to Calis.

Again huge congratulations. I just wanted to let the members know what the Fenerbache shirt managed to raise overall. I originally obtained the shirt for the Animal Aid Charity and then bought it at that auction (280tl). Then I donated it to Vojos for their auction for the Soma disaster. It raised approximately 600tl. It was then kindly donated by Martin for the Promises auction, which I believe raised in excess of 800tl. So, in total, the shirt (which took a lot of hassle to obtain and then nobody wanted it!!! - Thanks Heavens) raised approximately 1800tl for 3 well deserving charities. Not too bad for a shirt nobody seemed to actually want! Great!
-
So I can't add up. 1700tl (before someone posts)!

Remarkable and helping 3 charities as a result must be a first in Calis.. Well done... Galatasaray next year?

Amazing.....well done all of you :)
-
A brilliant result, very well done for all your hard work for 3c,s x
-
Fantastic - well done to all concerned.
-
Any improvement on last year is remarkable - but amazing considering the huge fund raising locally for the Soma mine disaster communities which also raised incredible amounts.
Well done to all concerned in this - arranging, donating & buying - you do need all three :)
