Title: Adanli Hasan Kolcuoglu Fethiye
Post by: hubblebubbles on July 03, 2014, 11:09:54 AM
A crowd of us went to celebrate a friends birthday on Tuesday night and it was brilliant. I would most definitely recommend it as quite an experience....... the food just kept coming and all of it delicious . Cold mezzies first followed by hot mezzies with freshly baked bread then the main course . All beautifully presented and good service  for 35 lira per person  and with the most fantastic views as we went on the top floor. Quite a walk up but again worth it but you do have the choice to sit on a lower floor . Big Thanks to Teo with his usual perfect hosting skills and they will provide transport  if you require. Thanks also to Dave and Jackie whose birthday we were celebrating  as he picked up the tab.!!!! even for the wine ...... For those who don't t know it is near the Esnaf but overlooking the  sea

Where exactly would that be going from the water taxi station in Fethiye? ???

When you get off the water taxi in Fethiye, with your back to the sea turn left and walk along the prom towards Calis.  Keep going until you reach Boğazici Restaurant, cross over the road and it on the other side next to the canal.  About twenty minutes stroll.  Alternatively you could get the Belediye Bus (blue bus) that leaves on the hour from Calis and get off right outside where there is a bus stop.  Once the bus has turned onto the prom I think it is the first stop.

Marggie,

directions spot on - other than turn LEFT when you get off the water taxi  :).

Went there a few weeks ago with a group of 9 - as you say excellent mezzes and spectacular presentation - a 7ft long kebab placed on a raised wooden platform down the middle of the table.

Some of their wine is rather expensive so watch out for that - but it is excellent.

Confused now is it left going backtowards calis or left facing the sea and going towards the boat yard?  :o Or alternately how far from the new lighthouse and which side of the road?

About the same distance from the new lighthouse as from the water taxi in Fethiye. It's just past what was the Shaka (now Mancero) & on the opposite side of the main road
