we need to get a sign to say the swimming pool is closed what is the reasonable time to say closed.
-
Why do you need to ?
-
All the time is the best time to say when it is closed ;)
Bearing in mind the early subsets anyway. If you are in a semi residential area I would say 7pm. Definitely no later than 8.

I had a sign made in the UK and took it out. It stated that the pool was private and to keep out.
The Turkish kids hadn't got a clue what it said. So it may be worthwhile having one made in
Turkish and English Flipper. ;)

This made me smile. Our pool became a bit like the public baths with the kids having day trips to our site! They bought sandwiches and settled on our loungers for the day. The classic was the grandmother from the site next door who had the cheek to complain when the pool was out of order and her grandson couldn't come swimming!

Members of our Owners Association in Calis have had several long conversations about pool times and have now come up with an agreed 7am to 9pm.
As we are currently all British owners, as are our visitors / renters, the sign is in English only.
We have published a brochure for those renting which is available electronically in advance and also in a hard copy at the apartments giving details of complex guidelines, pool times, security, refuse collection information etc.
Whilst you can never guarantee "guidelines" or "rules" hopefully everyone will at least have consideration for their neighbours.
So far we have had few problems in over 3 years - we hope it stays that way.
