Title: Aren't people wonderful
Post by: Highlander on July 12, 2014, 20:14:45 PM
The girl in the photograph used to live next door to us.

She lost the use of her legs in a freak road accident some years ago.

Today, she and her friend swam the width of Loch Ness to raise money for charity.

Well done Louise your a star.

Grit and determination. People like these put a lot of " sickness benefit " scroungers to shame.

Sorry folks - I have a correction to make.

Louise is raising money for a new wheelchair because it is not provided by the NHS.

How sad is that :(
