Post by: KKOB on July 21, 2014, 14:23:05 PM
Being scammed while abroad can turn a great holiday into a nightmare very quickly.
And just as fast as holidaymakers learn how these conmen and thieves work, the scammers come up with new ideas to take money from you.
With that in mind, a new infographic reveals the top 40 tourist scams travellers should watch out for this summer.

Easiest way to avoid the Istanbul "shoe shine" scam is to accidentally give the brush a right good kick, preferably into heavy traffic.  You can then take bets amongst yourselves as to whether the scammer will get creamed trying to get his brush back.  I learned several new words of Turkish when I did it to one on the Galata Bridge.
