Coming to Calis Beach on 27th September for 2 weeks and although we've been to Turkey many times (usually June and September) we've never been so late in September before. Hence the question whats the weather like at that time of year? Jacket required at night for instance?
Plus we also have friends staying in Hisaronou around the same time so was wondering if it is easy to visit in the evening (and how to get there and back Dolmus or taxi etc) as usual any help gratefully received. Cheers Barbara

Might be a little chilly at night - weather in October is a bit random - beautiful, hot days - and total thunderstorm washout days - everything is possible in October. Luckily if you get a bad day or two there is nothing to stop the next being a scorcher with full blue skies. One thing I can promise - pools will be cold!!! But not as cold as the ones up the hill in Hisaronu :)

Or those in Uzumlu! :-\

Bit frosty up there sometimes ;)

Distinct lack of humour in some areas 8)

Having been in in Calis in October for the past three years, we have had days of brilliant sunshine interspersed with fabulous storms. My only Problem with being in Calis this late in the season is the early sunsets, gets dark early. Don't agree with comments about cold pools, pools have had all summer to heat up, as has the sea. Best time for a dip in my opinion :)

Love it in September/October. The beer stays cooler longer in the glass. :D

Then you are wrong :D
They heat up through the summer and keep their heat because it doesn't get much cooler at night. By September they lose their heat rapidly overnight and by October they are cold day and night.
