You need to check your spam folder on your email account. My verification emails landed up there

Did ours today and it took less than 5 minutes and that's including printing it out..... I thought I read that you can still just pay for it there up to December 2014.

Had same problem myself where put all the details in but wasn't getting the email back to respond to and put in card details , if that's the problem you are having , put in all your details etc then go into ongoing application where you can retrieve application it then lets you complete and print off, give it a go

I also had problems with the evisa. I never received the confirmation email after waiting for at least 16 hours for it to come through.

I got around it by going back to the evisa website and clicking the ongoing application tab and just entering the details asked for ie: passport number and email address. You do not need to enter any reference number. I was then taken straight to the payment page for my application.

Never had a problem but my confirmation ended up in my trash so it may be worth checking there

I noticed that the eVisa form only requires you to enter your email once; most sites ask you to submit it a second time as a check. So, if you get one letter or number wrong then the verification email will sail off into virtual nothingness. However, the site says if you don't respond within an hour the application is cancelled. That suggests you can start all over again after an hour is up.

Given its only eight quid difference per person, and the issues you're having, I'd just forget it and buy a visa sticker when you get there.

i was informed about an "amnesty" as regards paying when you get there useing the old system of queing up and stand in line with your english tenner now as you so rightly say £20,but the way my luck is turning i will be the one that gets knocked back and returned post haste, midnight express has now turned into mcknight express.
