It's Left Handed Day today, so best wishes to all my fellow left handed members. I wonder how many members are left handed??
If you are or even if you have someone in the family or a friend who is left handed. This is a great website to get left handed items. I don't know how I would manage without my left handed knife or more importantly, my left handed corkscrew ;) ;D

I am a leftie too Jacqui but I also use my right hand for a lot of things as well which I won't name!that was a joke...if I was playing tennis for example I would hold the racket in my right hand...they also say left handed people are more intelligent but that does not apply to me :)
-
Me too Karen - left handed writing and right handed tennis, snooker, even painting/spraying. Bit odd.
-
I am left handed for everything. So, a total lefty. My son is left handed but plays golf right handed. However, the benefit of him being left handed...and all lefties will know this. I always get him to fold the sheets with me as he does it my way.

I'm totally left handed as well. The only thing is use my right arm for is to stop my shirt sleeve flapping in the breeze. ;D
-
Ooops, what a fibber I am. I've just noticed that I use my right hand for the mouse.
-
Me too Steve, total left handed but use mouse with right!
-
I too am caggy handed.
Write lefthanded
Shoot lefthanded
Snooker lefthanded
Darts righthanded
Golf righthanded
Cricket righthanded
Mouse righthanded
Several in the family are lefthanded. A teacher at school used to punish me for being lefthanded and spent most of one term
trying to make me write with my right hand. His name was Mr Wright, he was a nutter and he didn't succeed.

A very sinister thread.

Apparently 15% of people are left handed, but 20% of members of Mensa are left handed, meaning you are correct :)

Me too Karen - left handed writing and right handed tennis, snooker, even painting/spraying. Bit odd.
Me too - my mother and only sibling are left handed and I remember my mother telling me that when she was at school in 1930 they used to tie the hand behind your back if you were left handed - was that true Scunner???

left handed, but when younger could not buy or afford the left handed items, so I had to struggle through with right hand, now I can use both but tend to use right for mouse. I put this down to offices where desks were shared and little room to move.
As for left handed day, well I put it alongside those, cousin/daughter/son/grandparent etc days, money spinners. not interested,
Happy August 13th ;)

Couldn't agree more Loz, use my right hand on the mouse as the pen or phone is in the left. Never heard of a left handed knife, a potato peeler or scissors, yes, but even then, I used the the old ones upside down. No problems. How about all those right handed friends who struggled with the fork in the left hand. Have to admit that I use a desert spoon in my left hand also.... How shameful!

Left
Write, throw, pool/snooker, darts, bowl, bow and arrow, eat desert, thump ;-)
Right
Guitar, golf, racket/bat/cricket, mouse, eat first course.
Both
Catch, fly fish, pick nose ;-)
-
That's disgusting, catching with both.

Abu Hamza not bothered either way I'm guessing.
